The Oak Pub and Grill is a fantastic find in Cincinnati, offering a cozy atmosphere and truly memorable food. What immediately elevated our visit was the genuinely great service we received from Mike, the bartender. His attentiveness and welcoming attitude made the entire Sunday afternoon seamless and enjoyable.
We started with the Anderson nachos, which were a standout—they delivered a perfect and very satisfying kick, making them a must-try for anyone who appreciates a little spice.
For drinks, the Country Boy Shotgun Wedding Brown Ale proved to be an excellent, smooth choice from their tap list.
The main course, the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich, was incredibly satisfying; the pork was flavorful and tender, hitting all the right notes. Alongside it, the cabbage salad was quite unique, offering a fresh, unexpected crunch and flavor that paired perfectly with the richer sandwich.
The Oak Pub and Grill excels in both flavor and service. Highly recommended!

Fun neighborhood pub. Indoor/ outdoor dining. They have their own parking lot. Fast, friendly service. Menu had salads, tacos, soups, sandwiches. My fish tacos had a generous slice of fish and you got three of them. They were yummy. My friend got a lamb gyro. She enjoyed it with a cabbage salad

Played banana phone on touch tunes, ate a ridiculously good club and happy hour was a spectacular option. Pretzel bites plus buffalo chicken dip is a blessed combo. Onion rings and buffalo chicken dip is not what I anticipated but worth a try

I greatly enjoyed my meal here. The patio was very fun, the drinks were great, and every dish we had was very good (the lobster roll I ordered was really excellent). Definitely a spot I will be back to!

I’ve been looking for a place here in Cincinnati that can make me a Lobster and Crab grilled cheese like I had at the LAX airport a few months back. They were able to add the lobster to a grilled cheese but not the crab meat and it was good just a tad bit salty but I would definitely try again. Really appreciated them making the accommodation. Rest of the food was good except for the Coleslaw, just too different for my taste. Bacon cheeseburger was better than average. Mozzarella sticks were ok. Waitresses was ok, not as conversational as we are use to but serviceable. Price was reasonable for 2 meals, a speciality sandwich, and an appetizer. We agreed to give this establishment a 8 out of 10 overall. Definitely will return.

Bar Bites & Bourbon: A Go-To Spot That Never Disappoints
Looking for a laid-back spot with great food, generous portions, and friendly service? This bar delivers on all fronts. With a menu packed with variety, the chicken tenders and fries are a solid choice—crispy, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared. Drinks? Tall beers and smooth bourbons make for a satisfying pairing.
At $64.86 for the meal, the value is undeniable. The staff? Engaging, attentive, and always making patrons feel welcome. While the atmosphere is your standard bar scene, the overall experience keeps regulars coming back. Whether you’re in for a quick bite or exploring the extensive menu, this spot remains a reliable favorite. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A friendly atmosphere in a pub/restaurant environment. All the staff from the kitchen to the service staff were smiling and attentive. Food was very good and was told they were glad we had come as we were leaving!

I got the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwhich and a side of slaw. The meat was seasoned well and the slaw was asian style. This is definitely a great pub in a good side of town. I’ll definitely come back to sit on the patio!

I have been to this place multiple times because I love the food, great beer selection, and the establishment. I had two friends visiting from out of town for my birthday and I was so excited to show them one of my favorite places to eat, but was met with two very rude servers. All the tables were full we checked downstairs and we saw people almost finishing up so we decided to wait for a table. My group was told that we weren’t allowed to stand around and we were “in the way”. I’m assuming this server complained about us because another woman came over and said we had to sit at the bar because we could not stand and wait for a table. We asked if it was alright to wait for a table and she proceeded to tell us “no one was leaving”. As she said this a third woman walked by and told her someone downstairs was getting ready to leave. (which we noticed before) This situation made us feel uncomfortable and we left because we felt our presence was not wanted. I personally will not be back to this establishment and the attitude we were met with could have easily been remedied with kindness and communication.
