Restaurant and brewery locally owned since 1994. We brew it. We drink it. We sell what’s left. We are open for lunch and dinner everyday. We currently do not take reservations. All seating is first come first served. Pets are not allowed, service animals only. Thursday-Sunday we currently do not take to go orders from 6-9pm. The banquet room has been permanently closed. We offer patio seating out front.
House beers pair with a wide variety of hearty American fare at this easygoing brewpub.

Oaken Barrell Brewing Company offers a large menu with variety. The star of course are their beers. I had the raspberry flavored one. Go for the tall glass! The food is pretty good too and they have a lot to offer. Our server was friendly and was able to answer questions and offer suggestions. We had a great lunch and will probably sit on the patio the next time around.

I had a great time at this restaurant. The server was great, portions large and the price was fair. We got the weekend special for $15.95: Cajun Chicken and Sausage Bowl for the entree. We got the $9.95 Beef Tips for the appetizer.

We picked this place to have dinner since we were in the area purchasing a car. I saw on other reviews that it takes a while to get your food and that service can be slow. That was not our experience. Our server was very attentive and came to greet us within a few minutes of us being seated. She was friendly and made suggestions based on my questions.

Stopped in for a casual lunch. Our server Ryan was perfect. Very kind and got our orders correct. My husband had the fish and chips which he enjoyed. I had the black bean soup bowl (No Pico) and side salad (No Tomato). One ding off as under the top of the salad was some wilted/yellow lettuce. Plan to return with a bigger appetite so I can try new things.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was so prompt with everything and refilling our beverages without being asked. The food tastes incredible. I got the mesquite smoked ribs for my first time being there, but will definitely be back to try more of that extensive menu. The hot lava cake is a win and I’ll get that everytime.

Good diverse menu. Generous portions. Everything we ate was tasty. Unfortunately, terrible service. Arrived for an early dinner on a Sunday night about 5 PM. We ate on the patio. Two in our party ordered an appetizer of mussels; which took 30 minutes to come out. Shortly after the mussels arrived, the waiter came to get our dinner order again because he “forgot to enter it in the computer” but he insisted our food hadn’t been delayed because of it. Food finally arrived after being there an hour. No apology or offer of a discount. When one of our party mentioned the long wait to the manager, he actually said it had only been half an hour and was unapologetic as well. As if we didn’t know how long we had waited. Interestingly, we placed an additional order to go (of the same dish ordered by two in our party) and this food came out in 17 minutes. As we were leaving, we heard another table having some issue with the same waiter. Very poor experience. It’s too bad management doesn’t care about customer satisfaction.

Colleagues of mine had taken me here a couple of times. Never have been disappointed with the service, food, or atmosphere. It can be a little loud, but that’s because they are always busy. Definitely a must stop while in Greenwood, IN.

We came for dinner and had the taco salad and breaded tenderloin. The food was good. The taco salad had that good ranch and the salsa was decent. The tenderloin was nice and thick, not thin like a lot of them tend to be. The service wasn’t the best. It took a while for her to come over and greet us. When she brought our drinks she seemed annoyed that I had a couple of questions. It took 15+ min. for her to come back to take our order. I was to the point where I was about to just leave. After that she didn’t return until we were done. Someone else brought our food and came back and checked on us while she socialize with her friend at the door. They didn’t close for a couple of hours but she seemed like she wanted to be done for the night. This place could also you a good cleaning. I might return if someone else picks this place, but I won’t go out of my way to come back.
