I am not sure what happened to the Saloon. It used to be vibrant and a great place to go, but things have definitely changed (i.e. the place was dead last Friday at 9:30pm). The food is still excellent but the quality of service has dropped drastically over the last few years. The new bartenders barely say hello and act like they don’t want to be there. One even refused to cut a lime for my drink. Can you say no customer service. Just last night, ordered a double vodka and soda, and it tasted like a straight up club soda with lime. Had to order another shot on the side to put in there. I overheard 2 other guests as well who said their drinks were not that great either, and another guest had her pizza come out wrong. On the rare occasion that it is busy, I guess the bartenders want to go home early as they make last call an hour or more before the place is supposed to close. Not sure why they would make last call at 8:50 when the place is supposed to close at 10pm during the week. Even on New Year’s Eve, they started closing down at 12:10am when we were all celebrating. I have many more examples but no need to list them all. Finally, Not all the waitstaff is bad as there are some really good ones, and I don’t want to categorize them all. Whoever is running the place though needs to make some serious changes to revitalize the Saloon. I won’t be visiting the establishment anytime soon.

I go there at least monthly for my “Lefty drinking club”. We pile in 25 or 35 of us and order food and drinks. They deal with the separate tickets and are fun to work with.. the place is very nice and the drinks and food good. Not over priced, great choices available.

Really great food & saloon. Make reservations when possible or necessary. Great service, great food. They serve food in the saloon, so one could skip the dinning area and enjoy what ever is happening in the saloon. There are programs, line dancing, DJ’s, Karaoke too. Call ahead & find out what’s happening. Cheers.
