We have eaten here when it was under previous ownership. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The decor is outdated, but the food was good. I had a cup of very good chowder and an omelet with prime rib. It was excellent. The waiter was very sweet and they even have a robot to deliver to your table for fun!

1st time eating in years. The Chef’s salad was good, an average chef’s salad with ham, turkey, egg, cheese and greens. The to-go order, the senior Fish and chips, were very good flavor, however, the two Fish pieces were small compared to other restaurants on the I-5 corridor. Overall, the restaurant was very clean and the service was really good. Beverage refills without having to ask for them.

Was a regular customer because the food was good. Until an issue one day arose that had me feeling very down. The issue was at first I felt handled poorly. Did not return for a few months. Decided to try and work out the issue The Owner and Staff of the Oak Tree were very helpful in taking care of this customer. They did go above and beyond to bring back customer setvice. The food has always been great and I believe the culture that very customer matters is very true here at the Oak Tree. Thank you for showing us we matter.

I really enjoyed my swish mushroom hamburger It was cooked perfectly. Play wings by his vegetarian burger was pretty good. My eldest son loved his macaroni and cheese. My youngest said his pancake was panificent he also says that the egg was excellent and that the bacon was cooking. My daughter was not big on her chicken quesadilla however because she said that they put to much chicken in it lol . The nachos with cheese dip was really good. Diana was our server today and she was awesome. They have robot cats that delivers your food here it’s pretty cool. She let my son love on the robot cat which was pretty sweet of her.

I think the best part of dining here was the food. Which was pretty decent at best. My hash browns were tasty, but the my pancakes were rather absorbing. (As I had to put loads of syrup to even taste it). My server was not rude. She was kind, but did not come to refill our drinks. Or ask us how our meal was. In fact, another waiter entirely had to come to refill our drinks and give us boxes. If your looking for good service, this isn’t the place to go. Decent food and awkward service? Maybe.

We were a group of 7 that came in for lunch. Service was excellent and lunch was pretty good. It was spendy for diner food but everything is expensive now so whatever. They had huge gorgeous cinnamon rolls in their dessert case and I decided to order one to go for my kiddos. I got home and they went straight for it. Not sure how long that thing had been in that case but it was the driest, hardest, nastiest pastry I’ve ever spent money on. And it was over $11!!

The robot that brings you your plated food is cool. I love their Chicken Fried Steak. Atmosphere is a little aged, but overall, it’s a good food spot and the kids will love the robot server.

Tried this place twice this month and I’d never been I’m here and I live in Woodland. The food was excellent and great service. Get the prime rib omelette!!! So so good. No more pricey than anywhere else for the most part. I don’t have to travel out of town. I’m definitely coming back to try more.
