Best Burgers we’ve had in quite sometime! Simple bar menu, but small touches make it incredible. Comfortable. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was very quaint. Nice place to get lunch or meet up with friends for a drink!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!! I am a newcomer to the oak lawn tavern and I must say their food is absolutely delicious!! I tried the rib dinner that came with a mashed potato, vegetable, coleslaw and I also tried the Spaetzle which was beyond delicious. It came topped with bacon and fried onions on top of gooey mac and cheese. Great bartenders and great service with a smile. The wait staff is fantastic! it’s a tiny, quaint little bar that is family owned and they also have a meat raffle and a gun raffle you can also spin the wheel during happy hour for a free drink, half price drink or $. 50 off. I highly recommend this establishment.

Oak Lawn Tavern is one of my favorite UPNORTH bar/restaurants. It has the best broasted chicken, country fried steak& mashed potatoes (on Tuesdays), drinks, friendly service, in the Brainerd area. We are regulars for lunch and dinner.

I’m not really a type of guy to take my time and go online and write a review. But this one is necessary. This place has such great food , all of it. Not only that, fair prices. And, there are some waitresses and the owner lady is such a sweet person. They really care about their customers. Now, for anyone interested, if you like Rueben sandwich. They have the best I have had in my life, and that’s 74 years. It’s all home made , nothing in there thrown in a deep fryer out of a package. Try it!
