The service was also excellent with two minor areas for improvement: there is no hostess, so getting seated was a little confusing and awkward. Then some time was wasted around the check processing. The server, however, was absolutely delightful.
Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She sold us on several items.
-Appetizers-
***Get the CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!!***
You will not be disappointed! Probably the best I’ve ever had!
The RISE BAKERY GRILLED BAGUETTE had a good flavor. I’d get it again.
-Entres-
The TROLL CAUGHT WEST COAST SALMON was probably the best entre we had. The skin is left on and allows you to taste the herbs. The flavor was good.
The TAGLIATELLE was ok. The pasta was good, but I didn’t love these mushrooms. (I usually do like mushrooms)
The SPICY TAIWANESE STYLE FRIED HALF CHICKEN was good. The breading was good, and the chicken was cooked perfectly.
-Desserts-
The RASPBERRY ÉCLAIR was just ok. Not too dry, just the taste missed the target.
The DARK CHOCOLATE CRÈME BRÜLÉE was good. Be sure to eat a small piece of the orange with each bite.
The WASTONIA FARMS PEACH HAND PIE was good. We would get this again.
We started with the truffle fries. They were good but not outstanding. I prefer shoestring truffle fries and these were regular size fries. They also could have used a bit more cheese. To drink I had the Oak and Honey old fashioned. The cocktail menu was creative and typically priced.
I ordered the fried chicken with Brussels sprouts and beans. I didn’t realize when I ordered that it was gluten free and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. It’s incredibly hard to find gluten free fried chicken so I’m definitely highlighting this point! Our server said that the menu is rotating but they always have a fried chicken option and it’s always gluten free. Oh, and ingredients are sourced locally—another plus!
My husband ordered the carbonara. He had a craving for that dish and it hit the spot.
Here’s my only request (and I’m going to start adding it to every review): PLEASE add one vegan dish to every menu. A simple vegetable plate or a grain bowl. It doesn’t have to be fancy. This is needed especially in a hotel restaurant! I appreciate the cauliflower option here!
We will be back! Thanks, Marriott, for this beautiful location.

We went on a Thursday night. There was a live musician that played a great mix of songs. Their signature mixed drinks were delicious. Good selection of local beers too.
The food was overall very good! I was indifferent on the flatbread. The wings, mac n cheese and potato chip nachos were excellent tho!!
I read some of the reviews prior to going – we didn’t experience any of the issues that some reviews complained about. The food came out fast and the wait staff was attentive. It was quite a busy night too.
I look forward to spending more time here!
