What a lovely bar and grill! It was decorated for Christmas and soft Christmas music was playing. All of the customers were happy and smiling. The atmosphere was perfect! It was like being in the bar from Cheers. I had a the Chef salad which was fresh and delicious as was the ranch dressing on it. I don’t get to downtown Homewood often, but next time I do , I will return to the Oak Hill Bar & Grill

Nice local hole in the wall in Homewood Center, with a sidewalk patio when the weather obliges. Was busy, but not packed, at lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Service was prompt, and we got our food in good shape.
Ordered a patty melt and a shrimp po’ boy, both with fries, and a slice of chocolate silk pie. All were good, with fair sized portions for the price, especially on the po’ boy.

Went at dinner time. Food was decent. I heard that their pork chops at lunch are very delicious. I would like to come back and try the pork chops on Monday and Thursday during lunch hours.

My friend took me there both of us visiting for the first time. We had the Monday daily special pork chops, Black eyed peas, tomato and cucumber salad and sweet tea with lemon. She had okra instead of salad. Very good service was great. Nice atmosphere. Busy lunch but no rush. Relax. Very pleasant experience. I’ll recommend this place.

I do not think we will be back here. We came on a Saturday for lunch. We did not get great service. We waited a lot. Also, the main food was not great.
Chicken Tenders: The breading was very unusual. I would. I would best describe it as rubbery. The chicken was juicy but very salty.
Sweat Potato Fries: Very good!
Honey Mustard: Nice balance but also included mustard seeds.
Fried Green Tomatoes: This was he first time I have ever had these. And they were great! They seemed to be cooked really well. They were just a little sour.

I usually hold my reviews for multiple trips, but I really enjoyed eating here, the lunch atmosphere is good and the service was fast. The food is very good, and this place comes highly recommend from my wife and her co-workers who eat here monthly. I will be back and I am looking forward to trying other items and updating my reviews and adding photos. There are a lot of good photo ops of neat pub like back drops. I definitely recommend the Philly cheesesteak it is good. Well worth the money.

Wonderful hidden gem in Homewood. My daughter and I went for lunch. The food was delicious!! Our waitress was nice and prompt. You should definitely try them out. You won’t be disappointed . Shoutout to the chef and staff. We will be back
