Great smaal town pub / eatery.

Nothing fancy, but everything fresh and homemade.
Excellent burgers, home cut fries.
Kitchen was ” in the weeds” upon arrival but the bartender Ruby was up front about the situation so no worries.
Food was well worth the wait.
Cold beer, decent liquor selection, friendly service, reasonable prices.
Small town atmosphere.
Perfect
Will return.

Based on the numerous positive reviews, we decided to stop here for lunch. The deep-fried pepper rings were outstanding. My chicken quesadilla was somewhat of a letdown, as the chicken, although tender, seemed to lack seasoning. According to my husband, the Texas jumbo dog was very filling, but unfortunately, his fries had cooled off by the time they were served. The dining area is small, with tables in close proximity and only one server. The service was friendly, but due to the number of patrons, the food took longer than anticipated to arrive. If you are pressed for time, it is best to avoid this establishment.

Found this great little local bar, while passing through, on a motorcycle trip. People we’re very friendly. The chx cheesesteak was huge and excellent. My buddies enjoyed their burgers.

Third time at Dave & Ruby’s and it definitely will not be the last! First time here, we had wings and a sub. WOW! I highly recommend the “hot honey” sauce! Our second visit was takeout, and was just as perfect as our first visit. This time, as recommended, we made reservations for steak night. I had the ribeye (fresh, local beef and cooked to perfection!), hubby had the grilled chicken salad (It was HUGE). Portions are large, well-prepared and so very delicious! Casual atmosphere, with a very relaxed and welcoming feeling. Dave & Ruby’s will be a regular stop for us!

This is a small place bar atmosphere. They have outdoor seating. Very inexpensive. The service was great. The food not so much. We had wings they were ok and they did adjust my sauce for me but the other appetizers we got were not good. Its up to what you like. We won’t go back.
