Like others mentioned, the food was ok, but overpriced for what it was. I liked how they had a lot of different options and some interesting choices like the Great Northern sandwich with bread made with cranberries and wild rice. That said, it still kinda disappointed. The flavors all blended, it was a little greasy and didn’t really stand out.
It was pretty busy when I went and both service and food prep were very fast. The table layout allows for everything between solo diners to large groups of upto say 10 to be seated. It also blends takeout with serviced dining pretty well.
If it cost like $5 less or if this was located closer to me, it might have been worth it, but from where I live, there are much better similar restaurants in the same price range that are closer.

Had the great northern and the tomato basil soup. Both were out of this world! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area! The service is quick and friendly and the food is awesome!

Great flavors in all of our food selections! We had the haddock tacos, wonderfully crispy taco shell with a wider shell and good flavor, definitely wasn’t the normal corn totilla. The haddock was nicely seasoned and grilled. The slaw was sweet – tangy and really flavorful. We also did the Cobb salad that was all very fresh and nicely presented. The biggest surprise was the sweet potato fries which were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. They came hot, crispy and were served with a creamy cinnamon dipping sauce that was a real treat. The ice water is the only item where improvement in the taste would have made the experience better. Oak Eatery was offering some chalk board drink specials, which looked enticing, Old Fashioneds, Manhattans and several more that, had we not been there for lunch we would have tried.
The service was really good, attentive and engaging with a minimum of interruptions. Pricing was good for the quality of the food. The overall atmosphere was fine, a spartan wide open plan with concrete floor and open ceilings that made it bit on the noisy side, but not so much that it interfered with conversation.
Overall it was a great lunch with really good food and service and we’ll definitely go back.

We ate here for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded. The menu is huge with so many great choices like pizza, sandwiches, burgers, flatbread, and calzones. They also have beer and wine.
My calzone was made fresh and was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her burger but the French fries are not up to the quality of the rest of the food I thought. Our server was great for our large ish party of 7.

This is a really neat place. The food is really good and atmosphere is good vibes. They have a patio on the side with water and a fountain too and umbrellas. Menu has plenty to choose from but not overwhelming like some can be.
Waitress checked in frequently. Prices were reasonable as well.

Unique spot, minimalist, but warm and inviting. Very solid menu with sandwiches in the $12-$15 range being the popular choice. The Hamel Rodeo Burger is well executed, dressed well, and on a great pretzel bun – very good. Nice beer and wine selection. Great service. Generous portions. We’ll be back – recommended.

Great family owned spot. What you would expect from a smaller restaurant as far as menu goes. The service and freshness of the food was stellar. Everything was piping hot and clearly made to order. From fries to wraps to a burger. Hot n fresh with crispy veggies and zero soggy buns or tortillas. Smaller but well appointed and with a beautiful view outdoor patio. If you’re heading west from the cities or going east back into the jungle and want a great meal for very affordable prices. Highly recommended.

I wish Oak Eatery was in my town. Great menu of well prepared items. I loved the flatbreads, tried some of my kids burgers, pizza and salad. A lot of Gluten Free options. Small beer and wine selection, but great options. Great small restaurant, order at the counter and enjoy great food.
