I’ve tried most pizza places in Oklahoma. Strange obsession. Oak City in my opinion is the only authentic pizza nerd approved place.
They’ve really kept it simple, yet perfected in execution. Very little flop, perfect undercarriage, bubbly crust, cheese pull. Off the charts.

The Detroit pizza is better than the pizza I have had in Detroit. And the best I have ever had in OKC. Well done.
This is a pay and wait system. That means you will stand in line every time you want another beer. Seating and TVs are laid out awkwardly. The fountain is trapped in the back and hard to navigate when it is crowded.
Despite these easy fixes, the food is more than worth it. Enjoy.

Saw this place for a while occasionally driving by. Decided to give it a try tonight. We ordered to go, sat and waited and had a drink with my son. Ordered three pizzas, some meatballs and some garlic knots. The pizza edges were burned, and the garlic knots tasted like something out of a Chinese restaurant. The service wasn’t bad at all and the atmosphere was pleasant however, they did have what appeared to be a very young child working behind the counter. The pizza dough is very chewy and they left Parmesan cheese off of the meatballs as well as the cheese on the Margarita pizza not being fully melted. Gave it a shot, however we will not return.

Living in OKC and our pizza is pretty legit… This location was near our house within 8 miles.. so we gave it a try…. Thankfully my guy works at Deer Creek and had it before!

Decently fast prepping of the food and the rest of the staff was super friendly! I was very pleased with our visit! Thanks to the owner in the kitchen and kitchen staff. We will return…you guys take care of hunger!!!

Crust was the best crust I truly ever tasted. I usually wont eat thick crust. But this Detroit style might just be my new favorite pizza. Great food great service. Do your self a favor and go eat at this amazing pizza place

Real deal Detroit style pizza (authentic brick cheese and crispy edges with sauce on top), and it was fabulous! I had the Detroit Angry Bee based on the owners recommendation and i was happy I started with that one. We tried it because they have plenty of gluten-free options for my wife. She said the GF crust was excellent. We also had a GF brownie which was outstanding. Bonuses: they are locally and veteran owned and they give back to some good causes! We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

For my first time trying a gluten-friendly pizza, Oak City Pizza Co. Deer Creek made a pretty decent one! My partner had been to this location a while back, but we both wanted to give it a try together.
I got the Gluten-friendly Hand Tossed Margherita Pizza, and my partner got the Gluten-friendly Hand Tossed Meat Pizza. For this kind of pizza the only size available was the 10 inch.
Something I appreciate about this business is that the gluten-free options are clearly listed! It is also helpful to specifically know which size! In addition of that, the website was incredibly easy to navigate. However, I was curious if there was any additional fee for making it gluten-free and could not tell online before visiting. There is a $3 fee but that is about normal.
Our pizzas did take a little while, but that was about expected too. Especially since the staff presumably had to clean their areas and prepare it differently. However, the pizzas came out nice and hot, and it smelled great! With the size of the Hand Tossed Pizzas, I felt that it was a good amount though not overly filling.
The Margherita Pizza was pleasant and the flavors were simple on the palate, but still was a good classic kind of pizza! It was nicely prepared, and there was enough of the red sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Also, my partner seems to enjoy the olive oil that was used too (taking a little off for their pizza).
I tried a bite of my partner’s Meat Pizza as well! Honestly, that was pretty good too! I am technically not as huge of a fan of sausage, but I would most likely get that pizza in the future! It was quite good! It was exactly as described on the menu, and just as freshly hot to enjoy! They thought there was a good amount of flour on the bottom of the pizza, but that did not take much away from their eating experience.
My partner is celiac, and they did not have any issues after which was great!
I thought it was nice that the tables had Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper available! As for the service, the employee taking our order was quite patient (especially since I was not completely sure on what to get yet), and let us know about the deal going on during that day! That was nice and helpful!
The atmosphere inside was comfortable. It felt easy to relax in and enjoy the pizza! I thought it was nice how it was a bit darker since some places can feel a little bright at times. There was good music too!

While you may walk in and it seem like a typical pizza place, the food makes it an over the top experience.
Friendly staff, super helpful on picking stuff for your first visit.
The pizza 10/10!! I got the spicy meat and loved it as left overs too. My son got 10” pepperoni and he enjoyed his as well.
Looking forward to trying more options in the near future.

Great pizza! Our favorite in the area. Angry bee with bacon and sausage added is great. Could use a bit more bacon. Always great pizza!
