OK, I tried really hard not to write this review because I’ve been going to this establishment for over 10 years multiple times a week, but I have not got any resolution our an apology at that. Me and my partner went there the other day, we ordered food, the waiter let us know he was very new that’s fine Super nice. We ordered the southwest eggrolls, steak fries, and the brisket sandwich. Southwest eggrolls were amazing. Steak fries were great brisket sandwich was not. The waiter did come over twice to check on us and we said we were good but we hadn’t taken a bite of the brisket sandwich yet. We finally took a bite of it and then set it aside. One bite. The cook then came over and ask if everything was OK and we explained to her that the brisket was very dry. Even with adding barbecue sauce it tasted like it was a day old plus, she said I’m sorry I apologize about that this and that and she was like do you want guys to make something else said no just take it back, again one bite out of it. We did let her know how good the south West eggrolls were and the fries were great cooked perfectly. So the waiter brings the bill, and I ask him why should I have to pay $16 or $14 whatever it was I don’t remember offhand for something we didn’t eat because it was inedible . He was like I’m sorry about that. Let me get my manager, so this is where the fun part comes in. Manager comes over and says there’s nothing I can do about it. You have to pay for it no matter what I said I don’t feel we should have to pay for something we didn’t eat that was inedible. He then proceeds to rip the ticket off the table and walk away and as he’s walking away, tells me “ take you and your black man out of here “my partner, then proceeded to get up and leave because he doesn’t want no problems. I then go up. I’m like let me just pay my tab and get out of here and he’s like no no get outta here just leave just leave it. I said I’m not leaving here without paying my tab so you can say oh you and the white girl and the black guy didn’t pay the tab for the rest of it. I said I’ll talk to Matt tomorrow and we’ll go from there. He then proceeds to throw a fit throw and stuff around, thrown his hands up yelling at me telling him I was rude to the waitress which I was not and I know they have video so they can pull that up and see I was very calm. We were very nice and then threatened to call the cops on me because I was asking to pay my . It was so out of line, it’s not even funny. You should be embarrassed to have somebody working for you like that. I have tried multiple times to get a hold of the owner. He refuses to call me back. But again you pull the cameras up you can see we did nothing wrong. After 10 years of business, I will never go to this establishment again and I will never recommend it to anybody again and I used to do that a lot. He also left his glasses there and I won’t even go back to get them.

I’ve been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I’m still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It’s changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men’s room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn’t miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?

Stopped in with the wife for lunch. Was a really cool neighborhood bar. Friendly staff and great food! The pretzel sticks were our favorite but our means were delicious.

If you live in Wyandotte, the Oak is the one of the best places to go for an excellent variety of craft beer both on tap and in bottles. For those in the back of the room, this bar is cash only. Literally, cash only. They do have an ATM inside. Their food menu is amazing and they have a variety of different appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. If you are a Jeep owner, they have a rubber duck machine. Can’t say enough great things about this place! If you like craft beer, this is the place to be!

Small local bar. Small being the key word. They had hits from the 80s playing. We ordered the chicken wings and armadillo eggs which came out burnt. We also ordered the philly steak and cheese, and the oak sliders. Our food took almost an hour to get to us with maybe 4 tables, 2 of which were ordering food. There was one waitress working all the tables. The prices they had posted online did not match the menu. While the food.was good, it was not worth the wait.

First time there in 2 years…. Still a great selection of beer. Staff was just as friendly and helpful as they always were.

My favorite beer bar in Wyandotte!
It’s cash only but there is an atm inside.
They have an awesome selection of craft beers and good food too! It’s bar food so obviously not a gourmet restaurant, but good for what it is. Love the brisket sandwich and patty melt, can’t get wrong with any of their apps. And my favorite part is that it’s kid friendly. I often see families there and they have high chairs. My two year old LOVES their duck catcher machine (play til you win which is great) and we have quite a collection of rubber ducks now. Always friendly service as well!

Had their half pound sirloin burger and the meat wasn’t very good and tasted funny, only ate half of it. To be fair it was the only thing I’ve eaten there, don’t know about the rest of their menu. Seemed like a good atmosphere to hang out and drink. Cash only no card.

Simply the best bar downriver. Excellent beer selection, always multiple rare or limited edition beer choices along with the usual good Michigan craft brews. Food is standard bar food but they make a good burger and their boneless wings are fried delish. Spicy fried pickles and fried mushrooms are really good too. Basically, you can’t go wrong at this longtime Wyandotte haunt. Remember it is cash only!

This place has a real laid back chill vibe to it. Great beer selection, good service, and the food rocked also. I highly recommend if you’re in the Wyandotte area.
