My first trip to El Paso landed me at Oak & Antler where I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding dinner selection and quality.
I met the owner Lawrence and was catered to by Jeremiah who made great recommendations. A couple of deviled eggs with bacon jam, grilled pork chop, and cucumber side had me dancing in my seat!! Exceptional flavor!! So good was my meal, I ordered the fried chicken to go!!!
That is a true testament of a great restaurant!

Liam and Anthony were awesome. Liam was our main bartender and he took beyond good care of us, suggested amazing food items and made the most amazing craft cocktails. I had the Sandia Sol and my husband had the Bacon Fat Washed Maple Old Fashion. Both were delicious!!! Food wise we had the fish and chips and the burger. The fish and chips was literally the best we had had in years and my husband is from San Diego Cali! Thick and crispy cod and the breading was not greasy at all – so crispy. The burger was juicy and the bacon jam and aged white cheddar made it. We did start with the devil eggs, beat salad and cucumbers. We honestly didn’t have one single bad drink or food item and were BEYOND impressed for our first time. This place has definitely earned some new local regulars and we can’t wait for their lunch menu. Oh and they had an amazing singer! She was so good!! They also have happy hour Monday-Friday so you gotta check them out

Very nice dining experience. Food was very good. My 17 year old said the smash burger was the best burger he ever had. Braised short ribs tender fall off the bone. Fish was very light, one bone in the fish (not the biggest deal). Black eye pea hummus was fair, not really my cup of tea. Brussel sprouts were delicious, may have been the star of the meal. Service was exceptional, waiter gave good recs, (since we were first timers), and owner checked on us. Atmosphere nice, not too busy, not too loud, low lighting very comfortable. Definitely recommend and will be back to check out some of the other dining options.

This one is going on our frequent flier stops. We enjoyed Oak and Antler as a bar, but we went as a restaurant for the first time tonight and it was incredible. As soon as we were greeted at the door we felt like everyone was glad we were there. Service was attentive, polite, and prompt. Every single employee was kind and warm and we were never left waiting for service. Our server was wonderful (I’m sorry I forgot his name!). The drinks were delicious, as expected. I had the rosemary gimlet and my husband had the maple bacon washed old fashioned and both were amazing, we absolutely could have stayed for more had we ubered haha. As for food, the fish and chips is now my favorite in El Paso. My husband got the smash burger, and the flavor of that was also impressive. The menu is small but mighty. Everything else that passed us out of the kitchen looked great too. The owner stopped by our table at the end of the meal and actually spoke to us like he truly cared about us. We were so full we had to decline dessert, but we can’t wait to return to be impressed by their dessert as well. Love the overall atmosphere too, trendy but relaxed! Id highly suggest checking it out!!!

Great spot with a lively atmosphere! The vibe here is perfect for catching up with friends or just relaxing with some drinks. We tried a few different menu items during our visit. The pork chop and braised ribs were big hits with our group—our friends couldn’t stop raving about them!
We also ordered the fried chicken, which was super crunchy, but we found it a bit lacking in flavor. On the bright side, the sides were delicious, especially the mac n cheese, French fries, and crispy Brussels sprouts.
Overall, I’d definitely come back to try more dishes and see what else the menu has to offer. If you’re planning a visit, I recommend making a reservation since it gets pretty busy in the evening!

Had a lovely experience at Oak and Antler. My son was visiting from Seattle and wanted to take him somewhere different, this was the right place. Live music, great food, and chill vibes. He ordered the pork chop, which was amazing. I ordered the fish, very good and my daughter ordered the chicken, very yummy but a little over salted. The Mac and cheese with bacon is a must, hands down best I’ve ever had. We paired or meals with some great wine and relaxed with the music. I will definitely be returning to this lovely restaurant. Thank you!

Amazing experience! Cute little Downtown spot. Had the fish and chips, beets, cucumbers, Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent, and Soloman was an attentive and knowledgeable server. Will be back!

I liked the short ribs as they were tender and slow cooked. My friends liked the fish and chips (some of the best ever tasted) and the food was very good for all. I had a problem with my Lagunitas IPA because it did not taste correct, so they switched it out and were nice about the change. I know exactly what that beer tastes like so there was definitely an issue. I would go back again, for sure.

Oak & Antler has consistently been one of my favorite cocktail bars in El Paso, so when I saw that they had transformed into a full-service restaurant, I knew I had to try it! We got a reservation during their soft opening, and as soon as we walked in, I could sense a different vibe. The walls are now painted a soft cream color that is warm and welcoming and causes the light from the antler chandeliers to create a glowing effect throughout the space. It’s not just the light that is warm and welcoming though; Danielle immediately greeted us with a smile and sat us at our table, making us feel like guests of honor. Alexis waited on our every need/desire throughout the dinner, and despite this being the soft opening, made it seem like the front and back of the house had been working together like well-oiled machine for years. The quality of the food was exceptional; this is true Southern cooking! Lawrence came over to our table a number of times to provide recommendations, confirm that our food was perfect (it was!), and check to ensure we were having a great time. Being able to get a delicious dinner at one of our favorite bars absolutely takes Oak & Antler to the next level! This is a must-return (and soon!) restaurant. Make your reservations and prepare to be blown away by the change!

Been here several times and every time it never fails to impress us. Amazing cocktails, good wine, delicious food – love the deviled eggs & brussel sprouts – and friendly attentive service.
Live entertainment adds to the experience and makes a great place for a date or night out with close friends.
We went 1/2/26 and got a personally written thank you note wishing us a great year.
I suggest you get the pork in marsala cream sauce as your entree, thats my favorite, though we’ve gotten other entrees and all are equally delicious.
Lawrence is attentive and proud of his establishment. Thanks for this gem.
