I went up to the hostess booth and waited patiently while the hostesses finished their conversation and asked to get a carryout. They advised that was not allowed at tgat time. Though, it didn’t seem that they were busy. So, I decided to sit and have a bite and get it boxed up but the waitress must have been told I was there for a carryout and she ended up accommodating me. I had the fish and shrimp platter and the chocolate pecan pie. All was good. I do wish the pie though was more pecan forward than chocolate but still yummy. I also shopped at the gift shop in front and bought a bottle of the Praline Liqueur and some yummy expensive pickles. All and all nice visit.

Stopped in for lunch at the Oak Alley Plantation Restaurant and was blown away by the experience!

The seafood gumbo was rich, flavorful, and full of authentic Louisiana soul—definitely a must-try.

We also had the grilled chicken and shrimp salad, which was fresh, hearty, and perfectly seasoned.

And let’s talk about that Lemon Julep—cool, crisp, and the perfect refresher while enjoying the Southern charm.

The ambience was amazing, especially from our cozy corner window seat overlooking the beautiful grounds.

Peaceful, relaxing, and just what you want while enjoying great food.

Big shoutout to our waitress Ashley—she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Oak Alley or just passing through!

Excellent experiences all around.

Beau was above and beyond (e.g. lagniappe for the cup of gumbo- KUDOS!) with prompt and attentive service, but a friendly and just too cute- demeanor that was mindful of my time (I was on a tour bus schedule), BUT did not rush my dining whatsoever- just absolutely great.

The Shrimp Po Boy was incredibly delicious and enjoyed the Abita to wash it down.

Will be back soon I hope!

Our group enjoyed our breakfast together at Oak Alley. The server was attentive, the atmosphere is easy-going & lingering, and coffee was good. You won’t be disappointed with anything you order from their menu. This is a nice place to go when you don’t want the distractions of daily life calling you to rush.

Everything was delicious!!! Our 1st Louisiana style meal. We had the kids Shrimp Gumbo and they were asking for refills. Fried Green Tomatoes with Shrimp, cooked perfectly, very crisp and flavored. We also shared the Medley and we have a well deserved love now for Crawfish Étouffée. That was the BEST Dessert-we had Bourbon Pecan Pie & the Chocolate Pecan Pie; both so good! So glad we stayed for lunch. The service was quick and the staff really kind.

This restaurant has surprisingly good food. The sampler Cajun plate was a great option to be able to try all of the Cajun entrees. The red beans and rice was a favorite for us though. We finished off our meal with buttermilk pie, which was also good. Skylor took great care of us. If you’re touring during lunch time, take a break here and you won’t be disappointed.

Quick bite after walking around the plantation. Pricey but it is good food. I had the pasta with chicken ( chicken was kinda weird tasting but the pasta was delicious! We tried their bourbon pecan pies, my husband enjoyed it. Not much to my liking. He had the fish platter that he enjoyed. 9/10 would recommend

Good:

– the mint ice tea
– service
– food
– dessert buttermilk pie and the pecan pie
– the place
– the souvenir shop accept Apple Pay
– diaper Changing table for toddler/baby.

Less good

– merchandising. I think they could add better product in their shop.

The food is not amazing, but that’s not the place where you expect to get this. I think for the price, the quality match.
