I LOVE Oak and Ale. The service is always top notch. Great happy hour, the food is always amazing, I especially love the burger and fries. We had a great time playing mahjong and hanging out. Can’t wait to come back!

I dined Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend and her daughter, and wanted to share that we had an amazing experience!! The jalapeño burger, wings and pasta dishes were absolutely delicious!! The bartender was a super sweet and hospitable young woman. I am dining here every time I come home!!

Oak seemed to me as more a wine and cocktail bar that serves food than a restaurant. The food is good it just doesn’t seem to be the main focus, primarily small plates. Service was friendly and prompt. The live entertainment was was very good without being overwhelming. Overall a nice place to spend some time.

This was my first time at Oak and Ale and it wont be my last. A unique and delicious menu with something for everyone. Split up into three sections i think the wine and cocktail lounge was my favorite as well as the patio. The frozen aperol spritz is a must try! The staff is very friendly and as busy as they were they were extremely attentive and answered questions we had. The charcuterie board was delicious and the fries are a must! My dad had the beef tacos and those were equally as delicious.

Delicious food, great service, and a very wide selection of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages! Conveniently located on Oak Street, with many shops just a few steps away. The Brussel sprouts were amazing!

Had the pleasure of working with the management and staff at Oak and Ale to help me surprise my fiance with a small party after proposing. The staff were kind and opened the doors early for people to set up, the bartenders were patient with the children who were present, and contributed to the celebratory atmosphere. I’ve enjoyed coming here on date nights and can recommend it for hosting events as well. They knocked it out of the park! Thank you, Oak and Ale crew!!

What a fabulous venue! Amazing wine selection, delicious craft cocktails and dining, perfect place to meet up with friends in a relaxed and refined space. Pop over to the Ale side for an extensive range of draft, bottled and specialty beers.

Fancy wine bar with a 5-7 happy hour for both select wines and select appetizers. Mostly small plates with a couple bigger entrees on the menu. Quiet music of a varied nature plays in the background allowing for quality conversations.

After a 15 hour drive down from Chicago to New Orleans, this place was a sight for sore eyes! Our wonderful Airbnb hosts suggested this local spot, which was walking distance from our apartment. We had delicious wine, marinated olives, and a delicious cheese plate! The atmosphere was chill and inviting. It was the perfect place after a long drive. We will be back!
