Fantastic food, great wine selection, and absolutely the best Sunday brunch in town! Big fan of the steak and pommes frites as well the seared duck breast. Went in to order lunch to go. Girl sitting at the bar yelled “sit wherever you like,” and as I was trying to say I wanted to place a to go order, she went back to her (very loud) conversation. The server, who was very nice and attentive, took my order. Got my food and went to work which was only a couple of blocks away. There was no silverware in the bag, but I happened to have a fork. The Bistro Con Huevos was very small for a dish that is priced at $13… Two baked eggs on burnt rubbery toast, and the arugula was so bitter, not peppery, it was inedible. I had two bites and ended up throwing the rest away. The potatoes were also overcooked. The 1/2 biscuits and gravy were fine, but needed salt. I am disappointed I spent the money I did, seeing as most of the reviews were so complimentary. I will try it again, but I feel burned (pun intended) on my first visit.
