This place is a true hidden gem! We opted for the 4-course steak menu, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish.
The restaurant boasts a comfortable, elegant, and minimalist decor that creates a wonderfully inviting atmosphere.
Every course was perfection—the flavors exploded with deliciousness, and the attention to detail shone through. Our standout favorites? The tender filet mignon and the rich, flavorful lobster soup. We loved the entire experience and can’t wait to return!

First of all, the ambiance and décor immediately give off a very upscale, elegant vibe. The staff were professional, respectful, and spoke both English and German, which made communication easy. They were also helpful when it came to choosing dishes and side options from the menu.
The food itself was very good. They offer complimentary bread, butter, and salami, which was a nice touch. For starters, we had the wagyu tartare, which was quite good. The steak was also very enjoyable and compared well with other steakhouses I’ve visited.
The only small downside for me was the plating of the steak. it didn’t quite match the price point or the refined atmosphere of the restaurant. That said, the quality of the food was solid overall.
All in all, it was a good choice and a pleasant restaurant to visit, and I would still recommend it.

A truly finger-licking restaurant. We chose the tasting menu, and I’ve uploaded photos of the dishes here for reference.
The chef is bold, surprising, and fearless — every single course deserves praise.
If there is one restaurant worth paying a higher price for, this is definitely one of them. Don’t hesitate — a wonderful experience is guaranteed.
The sommelier’s recommendation was excellent as well.
A “warm” tip: come in a short-sleeved shirt — the heating works overtime and there’s no ventilation, even when it’s below freezing outside.

Lovely meal, some excellent wines especially the Grüner Veltliner. It is quite an expensive meal but the wagyu tartare made it all worth it!

The food was SO yummy that we forgot to take pictures until after we were halfway through! The fish dish was excellent, and my daughter said the brisket was sensational. The vegetables were tastefully prepared and were very good as well. We didn’t have dessert. I love.

The service was very good— very accommodating!

Went to OAK107 with my children and we had a lovely evening! Located in a typical Viennese courtyard right by Mariahilferstrasse, here you can find everything, your meat loving heart & soul desires 🙂 This, accompanied by a really good assembled wine card and the friendliest staff possible, makes dining here a complete experience.

It was nice and quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
Service was really nice and accommodating.

Food was okay. The ribs were a bit too salty, beef fries tasted like regular fries in my opinion (there’s supposed to be beef fat poured over it but I couldn’t taste it).
I do wish the portions would be bigger for the price you pay…. we had ribs, pulled pork and brisket.
Pulled pork and brisket were fine. Would recommend those 2 if you like to go and try out the restaurant.

The ribeye was essentially tough, unchewable connective tissue. Such meat shouldn‘t even make it into the kitchen. Let alone be served. The server removing the plates didn‘t comment on the left over heap of tissue on my plate. I had to ask another server to bring free desserts to the table to compensate which finally made him apologize. There is something fundamentally wrong at oak117; they simply don’t know what it means to run a steak house. To be avoided.

The wagyu beef tartare was great. A lot of different flavors that all came together for a really good appetizer. I wasn’t as happy with the brisket, I expected a lot more pepper and more smoke for Texas style, it seems like it was rather overcooked compared to what I’m used to. That being said, it’s the second best bbq I’ve had in Europe. The broccoli was my favorite side, with the coleslaw having a lot of dressing and not as much cabbage. The service was very friendly and spoke English as well. It was a nice restaurant, too. Worth it to go back and try the short rib next time!

Good food and very friendly service.
I popped in early on a Saturday evening on my own as a solo traveller whilst visiting family in Vienna who had left me to attend a kids party.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I had a small portion of brisket served with chimmichurri, a broccoli side, sweet potato fries, and to finish a brownie and a glass of local Riesling.
Portions are quite modest but the food was delicious.
