We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for our first dinner with my parents. The atmosphere was immaculate, clean, and welcoming—essential for my traditional Filipino mother, and yes, even the bathrooms were spotless!

The food was absolutely delicious, but the true highlight was the service. Miss Jocelyn and co-owner Mr. Daniel went above and beyond to cater to our family’s needs. This restaurant will forever hold a special place in our hearts as the spot where my partner received my parents’ blessing for our marriage and where we shared the happy news of our first baby. Everything went so smoothly, making a potentially nerve-wracking occasion feel joyous and easy.

Thank you for being part of our little family’s journey. We look forward to many more visits and wish the entire team continued health and abundance!

This was our first experience at Korean barbecue. Our waitress Diane said she was only there a week, but we would have not known…she was a pro‼️‼️ She was fantastic showing us all the food how the grill worked. She helped us prepare our food since it was our first time and made excellent suggestions & recommendations. Very nice first experience.

First time here the waitress we had was by far the worst one I have ever seen. The other wait staff was amazing and cleaned up her slack the food was very good the only food downfall they didnt offer kimchi stew. I have been to korean reastaurants all over the United States and south Korea
And minus the waitress we had it was a good place to eat we had to chase our waitress to get the basics we ordered

If feedback is what helps places improves, I hope you guys not only read this, but actually take it seriously and do something. Biggest issue, SERVICE by far. It’s not just bad, it’s terrible. When we walked in, it took 10+ min for anyone to notice and seat us. After being seated, nobody came to our table for 15 min, and I had to yell across the restaurant to a staff member for them to even acknowledge we were there and take our order. We were never brought any water at all, and several of the sides we ordered never came out. We had to ask two times for water and three times for our sides that never showed up. I also requested a fork as well, and that never happened for 20+ min so eventually I just grabbed one myself. The portion sizes are very small, especially the white rice. I wanted to order more white rice since the amount given is barely enough for one person to make a plate let alone two, but of course, I couldn’t get more rice because the staff is so slow and never comes around. The smoke is also very intense, and we both left smelling like smoke and had to change once we got home. That would be forgivable if the service was good, but it was NOT. The food itself was ok, nothing special but not bad. This felt like a $19 per person experience not a $40 per person one. Not worth it at all, I frankly want my money back, and I’ll never go back again. Improve your service, or lower your prices. You can’t have both and survive long term. Shane it’s such a disappointment since we live right in D down and we’re very excited to check it out.

P.S. The bathrooms are disgusting. Someone need to get in there and clean them ASAP. Again, this is NOT a $40 per person experience when the service sucks and the bathroom is trashed.

Tried the new place it was good, the spicy tofu soup is good not really spicy it’s more sweet then spicy, the bogie was delicious, I tried the spicy squid and it tasted like fish, a bit too soft, also was not spicy at all.
It was sad that they don’t have any dessert menu, my little brother said he really liked the kalby steak.

there was a mixup with our check, though it seemed like the server, she got confused with the check and gave us the wrong check.

Had a very enjoyable experience with my family at this location. The meat selection did not disappoint, especially my teen sons with big appetites!! Our waiters were attentive, definitely come back often.

What an awesome experience. Never had K BBQ before. The place is a little pricey. And I’m not a fan of the auto tip situation for a party of six. But the meat is incredible. It’s very smokey inside. And your clothes will remind of such the next day.

Another place you want to try for a birthday option, is O² K-BBQ.
Made for large groups, but can also accommodate something more intimate, the whole experience adds another level to the do-it-yourself style grill.

While I was overly concerned with burning my food, the servers were always vigilant and ready to offer an assist as we adjusted and turned our food. The service team was even on-point in swapping out the grill, mid-way through our meal, to provide us with a ‘clean’ grill. ( Not that the old one was ‘dirty’ but there was a lot of seasoning, there were some charred bits of the meat – swapping out for a new grill was normal.)

As helpful as they were, I think it would have been helpful to have something written nearby that we could refer to for the different cooking times of the meats, i.e. 15 min/side for chicken, 25 min/side for pork (those are just estimates- not real).

But, me and my partner enjoyed ourselves, thoroughly and the food turned out juuuust right. I could have used more veggies to grill, but other than that it was a tasty meal.

Only thing about the atmosphere:there weren’t many people when we went, so less bodies to absorb the sound in the space. The music seemed to echo that much more and I found myself competing with it to be understood. Good night though.

As we were seated, the server told us that the table she set for us was too small for our party. We had told them our party size, but she didn’t expect us…? Weird.

No one explained all the extra bowls on the table. Some were pickles, some we weren’t sure. Some duplicates? They took up lot of space.

We ordered the “all you can eat” menu, and started with a selection of tasty meats and veggies, along with an appetizer that arrived simultaneously. We cooked them ourselves on the grill in the middle of the table. The first server was going to come back and instruct us… but never did.

Through the evening, the meats & veggies we ordered either were delivered wrong or not at all. Even ordering just 2… Received 2 different. Finally ordered 1 at a time.

Getting servers attention was difficult. They did want to replace our grill with cold grill, often mid-grill of meats, which made cooking them difficult.

Some meats (particularly chicken) were unevenly sliced, making them difficult to cook. Veggies, too, were erratically sliced.

As the evening went on, the smoke from charred foods made it difficult for all of us to breathe and eventually chased us from the restaurant, coughing. Not much ventilation.

This was my second time visiting 02 Kbbq. The atmosphere is fantastic. I appreciate listening to my favorite K-pop artists while cooking the meat. The service could be better— I understand that they can be busy, but you can be waiting a bit before seating. The soju is also 16$, which is a very high. Those are my only critique, yet even so I would not knock down any stars. The meat is fantastic and the highest quality I’ve come across so far. The grill, which is ovular, is fantastic and helps grill the meat amazingly. I truly hope this establishment succeeds and I wish the owners the best. This is by far the best self BBQ I have come across in the states by far.
