Service: Very nice and welcoming staff, super helpful and accommodating
Food: Very reasonably priced, good selection of meats and sides. Everything tasted good and fresh, 0 complaints.
We got few steak options and marinated chicken. Delicious
For dessert there is a self serviced soft serve machine which was very nice finish for the meal
What really sets them apart is their handmade soy sauce, you can taste the difference. Their rice cakes are also excellent, served in a spicy sauce that adds bold flavor. The servers are friendly and very attentive, and the atmosphere is fun with several TVs playing K-pop videos.
Bonus: They recently added a soft-serve ice cream machine you can help yourself to when you leave, for free and such a nice touch!
Highly recommend for anyone who loves Korean BBQ, plentiful options, and great service.
However, we asked someone else (apparently the busser, who said he’s been working there for over 6 years and spoke Spanish) if he could please change our grill. Then he asked if we had ordered more meat, and we said no — because the waiter was busy and hadn’t come to check on us, which we completely understood. But then he told us we only had 15 minutes left, and when I asked why, he said we only had 100 minutes total.
That felt unfair, because according to their website policy, it says:
“During peak hours and weekends, parties of less than 5 have a 100-minute seating policy – parties of 5+ have a 2-hour limit – automatic 20% gratuity added to parties of 5 or more.”
We were 7 people, and our server was taking a while to attend to us. When I mentioned this, the busser said, “I’ve been working here for over 6 years, and there’s a new manager who doesn’t know and changed the rules.”
We spoke to our waiter, and when he checked with the other guy, he came back with a completely different story.
Also, when we asked another runner if he could please take a few of the plates that had piled up, he rudely said, “That’s the waiter’s job.”
We totally understand they were busy, but it wouldn’t have hurt to help a little — especially since the 20% gratuity is already included for parties of 5 or more.
The food was delicious, but the attitude of some of the staff (not the waiter) really makes me unsure about coming back.
We were also a bit disappointed because we chose this place to celebrate my brother’s birthday.
