After a hike Saturday morning with my girlfriend’s family, I stumbled across this restaurant as her family mentioned that O2 eatery was delicious and new to Albany. Whoever painted that wall, I gotta give it to ya. That wall is a great design! Service was on their game because it was a soft opening. There’s nothing wrong to that. Good service equals good reviews. I must say the food and drinks were portioned well. Got the Iced Strawberry matcha with a bear shaped ice cube. Although you could taste the strawberry bits, the matcha is what you could really taste. It wasn’t bland as how real matcha is but the drink wasn’t too sweet. It was made just right. For food, I got the Just Box – fried chicken. Chicken was crispy and the rest of the food in the bento box got me full. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to seeing what else this restaurant has to serve.

Found this place while searching for a new breakfast spot because my old reliable one suddenly became “not so reliable!”; when I first went I had their breakfast, and my son commented it looks like it was ‘made with love!’ and it sure tasted that way. Then we went a few days later and had dinner, and WOW it was great also, between the food and the awesome staff, this place is %

Wow. Delicious. Five stars.
I’ve eaten at many breakfast and brunch spots around the world. When I walked in, I liked the calm, pretty atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and clearly enjoyed her work. First bite into the potato–crispy, flavorful…I knew I was sold. The salmon Benedict was juicy and well balanced. The presentation was great with the edible flower.

I regularly go to O2 for lunch as it has a great variety of food options. Just learned that it now also serves dinner with a different menu, mainly serving Japanese dishes!
Katau Ramen was one of the best in the area (so good that I finished it without realizing I did not take any photo!). Roll was really fresh and tasty too.
Update 1/16: understand they no longer serve dinner (for now).

Great brunch location! We had brunch around noon on Sunday. There was street parking near the restaurant, but you may need to drive around a little bit to find a free spot. They were able to seat the 2 of us at the counter with no wait. There was a waitlist forming after we sat down, but didn’t seem too bad. Food was filling and they had some gluten-free options as well.

I walked in and felt like I didn’t belong there. They didn’t ask me if I needed any help. I had to walk up to someone to ask where to be seated. The kind of treated me as if I was an outsider- didn’t check in on me while I was eating, didn’t thank me for coming in, didn’t come to Ask me if I was ready to pay. I had to walk up to the counter again to ask them if I could pay with Apple Pay. it was very strange treatment. Overall, I did like the Matcha that I had and the waffles, wasn’t too fond of the chicken. The food had a very nice presentation.

Stopped here over the weekend for a last minute brunch. Overall, this place didn’t disappoint. I had the mushroom burger served on a toasted brioche bun with very crispy fries. My friend has the Egg Benedict which was equally tasty. Overall, exceptional dishes, would definitely recommend.
