Excellent food & great staff. Great for big parties. Check the board for the daily specials & happy hour deals. The friend Zucchini was really good and so was the patty melt. The patio is huge and comes with two patties, but you can always ask for a single patty. If you have a large party call ahead for reservations other than that reservations are not needed. Hometown staff, with excellent food. Thank you!

Fairly average place to eat. The food and service were fine, but nothing special. The portions were large, which was nice, but the prices reflect that. With so many dining options close by, I would personally skip O T and opt for something else.

My sister and I ate there and loved it! She got the fried shrimp and they were huge and delicious and served with fries, I got the beef stroganoff and got a platter full of wonderful tender beef with noodles and a sauce to dream of. The service was good and it was very clean. I definitely recommend stopping here.

Menu is outdated but the food is absolutly delicious (5 stars in area 3.5 regionally, average fine dining being 4 and two starred restaurant being 5). One of the best spot to eat in town and possibly the best value and overall well cooked food in town. Service is a little slow sometimes but you’ll be happy once you take your first bite.

This has and always will be my favorite go to in Taft. Chris is amazing and works so hard for everyone to enjoy this restaurant. It is the only place in town that has both Prime Rib; and fish and chips. The portions are quite large, and they also have a full bar with a knowledgeable staff ready to help you get your crave on. I will always come here as much as my pocketbook will allow when I don’t feel like cooking myself, or want something different. Thanks OTs for being around for us and always giving us quality food and service.

Im in town for business, and eating here was a Great call, they have the 3 things, what one always hopes they can get eating at a not known restuarant. Great Food, Great Prices. & Great Service. I got the Parmesan sandwich, chicken was big and delicous. I recommend it. My friend had the Bacon wrapped ground sirloin and onion rings, they were also excellent.

We stopped by right before closing and the entire staff welcomed us, encouraged us to order anything we wanted on the menu and the owner came out to speak with us after dinner.
The food was delicious!
And we eat out a lot!

Horrible service. My husband, son and myself came here for our 17th wedding anniversary. Should have known it was going to be horrible from the ordering of the drinks. She asked if we wanted lemon in our tea and water, we said no and they put it in anyways. Why bother asking if your not going to listen. My husband asked for his 20 steak dinner medium rare and it was rare. My broccoli wasn’t steamed all the way. Then when we finished, we piled their plates neatly for them at the edge of the table and I waited for a to go box for my steak. We sat there for almost 20 minutes while the 4 different waitresses (including ours) fluttered around to all the tables around us-clearing tables and checking on how they were and delivering food. Why would they keep ignoring our table? Finally it got to the point we went to the hostess up front to get our check. I never got my to go box. I have never felt so mad. I guess our 60 dinner ticket wasn’t worth their time. I will never ever go here again.

This is definitely a hidden treasure in the valley of Kern county. Large portions of beautiful steak or seafood. Always cook perfectly, restaurant is very easy to find.just go to Taft and drive down main Street all the way west till it comes to an end and there in front of your nose will be the OT restaurant.
