Pleasant family sushi restaurant with larger than normal portions at a reasonable price. Our waiter started the meal off with a complimentary edamame and finished the evening with a cookies and cream ice cream. This was a big hit for the kids.
The O’sushi sashimi platter had large, thick cuts of fresh fish. Bright colors accented with a spicy/salty fresh wasabi sauce.
The salmon teriyaki bento with California roll came with lots of sides (gyoza, miso soup, salad).
The rainbow roll was decent – the cuts of fish were thinner and a lower grade than the sashimi platter. Recommend going with the sashimi platter if you are prioritizing fresh fish.

You may wait a little on your order but I love this cute place! It’s great quality and the staff are so lovely. I love the happy hour they have and always get their yellowtail roll and albacore. You can’t go wrong with a single item. I’ve had

decided to take myself on a solo date to end off my night and was in the mood for sushi , so on a whim i found this place to try , and was left very happy ! the highlight of my meal was definitely the fatty tuna and wagyu sushi roll . the crunch shrimp roll was fried perfectly , batter was very delicate and not like the typical thick tempura batter im used to . but my fav was definitely the crunch salmon roll cause it’s kinda an ‘elevated’ philadelphia roll lol . then when the server dropped off my check , she kindly asked if i’d like some ice cream before they closeed up , and you obviously gotta make room for desert , so i said yes . overall , a great spot with good food that i’d happily visit every once in a while . you can also tell that they use fresh ingredients !
bonus points for my server apologizing for a family that was being kinda loud , didn’t mind as it kinda added to the atmosphere for me and they were having family night , but appreciated the gesture

Update 2025: IM STILL STANDING BY THIS REVIEW my family & I are now regulars for the last 3 years! Its only gotten better and better!! Service & food were excellent! The service was so quick and friendly everyone very attentive. THE SUSHI was so good we just kept ordering more & more!presentation is also so lovely , we will forever be coming here now best sushi near the poway area

A go-to sushi spot for our family! You can count on the Padres game being on the screens when they’re playing and you can watch it from almost any seat. The chirashi don is my fav, but all the sushi options are good quality for the price. They even have a kids menu with choices that hit the spot.

Really delicious sushi! The fish is very fresh, and the toro roll is my favorite. The fresh wasabi is amazing, and I really can’t think of that many other local sushi places in this area that have fresh wasabi and great fish. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere here is very neighborly and nice. I go here often for dine in and take out, and both are great.

One of my favorite sushi spots in San Diego! Every time I go, I leave completely satisfied, although I always regret not having enough room to try everything I want. The Rainbow Special, sushi omakase, BTS Roll, and Tonkatsu etc… are all fantastic. The staff is friendly, and most importantly, the freshness of the sushi is top-notch!
