It was the place that had place in the evening around 8 and we got seats without reservation. The person at bar was very nice and got us the seats.
The waiters were decent but not much of greetings etc. If you expect that then you might be a bit surprised. But they took orders well and they spoke English well.
The pizzas were good. Not the best I have had but good pizzas. The prices were on a little bit higher side.

Always a great place to visit when in Florence. It is a hidden gem with great pizza, pasta and fish. Near Santo Spirito and San Frediano and very worth the trip. You can also order a metre long pizza. I highly recommend and they are open everyday of the week.

Update: interesting the restaurant solely focused on the unevenly cooked dough rather than our experience as a whole. I ate the parts that were cooked and did not want to eat the gummy uncooked parts. Regardless of where the dough originated this dough was cooked in your restaurant. I modified my review to a 1 to reflect the poor management of this business as well. Everyone we spoke to about this was shocked at the experience we had and how long it took to get the pizzas. Blatantly saying they pushed our order aside because other pizzas were “easier to make “ is wild. Again, worst experience we’ve ever had in Italy. Here is the math for you: arrival 7pm, good delivered to our table after we asked while it was taking so long 8:45pm. The restaurant is even shocked at how long it took and can’t even believe it. That’s how bad this was.
By far, the worst experience we’ve had in Florence. The only reason I’ve given a 2 stars is because the tomato sauce and some of the flavor was good, and had some potential of being great. I can’t think of anything that was positive from this dining experience but it was recommended by our hotel so we had to try it. Here’s a photo of uncooked dough after waiting almost 2 hours for it to be made (first people in the restaurant and the last ones to get our food after they kept serving people who kept walking in). After waiting so long, you’d think the orders would be correct and cooked properly. Not the case.

Really tasty Neapolitan style pizza. Very quick service and short food preparation time (place was only 50% full) and a cool setting under a vaulted ceiling.

When a place has delicious pizza, fantastic ambiance, and an affordable menu, it really makes for a perfect outing. Plus, a good wine selection can elevate the whole dining experience!

Really delicious pizza and super fresh salad. We were so hangry and walked in at 815 to find a beautiful hidden gem with lemon trees and fun characters. Excellent value too.

Second visit and it was just as good as our first!! The best pizza I had on our entire visit. We also ordered the gnocchi because we just got done climbing the Michelangelo. It was the best food and a great first meal back in Florence.

I had the VEGETARIANA pizza and the ZUPPETTA DI POLPO E COZZE SU FRESELLA FATTA IN CASA. Greedy me because the pizza alone was too big for me. The pizza was very good and I will certainly not have a starter the next time. The atmosphere is good. They were pretty busy and it takes effort to get their attention. But once you have got them, they were pretty quick in getting back.
