O-Ku Atlanta provides a fresh and innovative take on traditional Japanese sushi and cuisine. The Midtown restaurant offers rare and unique dining options along with traditional sashimi and specialty rolls, sourcing seafood from the finest fish markets in Tokyo and Hawaii alongside local and seasonal ingredients. Reminiscent of traditional Japanese culture, O-Ku’s menu is comprised of signature starters, contemporary Japanese entrées and seasonal traditional sushi that reflect the uniquely designed space. Located in West Midtown’s Westside Ironworks development, the bustling restaurant is positioned on the east side of the main building and features a spacious rooftop and bar overlooking the Midtown skyline.

Came here for my 4 year anniversary with my girlfriend and had a wonderful time. We were surprised with a free appetizer upon being seated because we were celebrating and it was amazing. Our server Jade had great recommendations for cocktails and food items, and did an amazing job making us feel welcomed and like special guests. All food exceeded our expectations and we ordered A LOT of sushi. Manager Joe is the best, he personally brought an appetizer to our table, and sent out a free dessert platter with Prosecco. Overall 10/10, definitely will be back.

A great place in midtown for happy hour. Such a great deals on fresh and delicious sushi. Visited on a Wednesday evening around 6 PM for date night. A dimly lit romantic vibe. We ordered way too much food but we enjoyed every bite. Service was top tier, plates were removed almost immediately after we were done with them, staff checked in repeatedly and gave recommendations. I’d definitely return and highly suggest you check it out for yourself.

This was our first time dining with O-Ku and the service was amazing! My boyfriend did the omakase and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our waitress Cara was very informative of every detail. The chefs behind the bar were welcoming and wanted to share their preferences in the experience. They were careful with accommodating my boyfriend’s food allergies. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it extra special with a delicious dessert to finish the meal Before we left, the manager surprised us with a gift card to a local venue that wasn’t affiliated with the restaurant. We felt like family at the end! We look forward to visiting again!

We celebrated our two year anniversary and the staff made it so special from us. We weren’t expecting much, we came in to sit at the bar for one or two rolls and ended up with the best anniversary ever. The bartender & manager were so sweet and attentive. We are amazed and truly touched by the above and beyond service we received… I’m so grateful for the service I almost forgot to mention how good the food was. The sushi was fresh & flavorful. We had Cara as our server on a beautiful Saturday evening. After my guest arrived we were seated promptly. The restaurant was busy and food still came out quickly, with each food arriving as it was ready. We thoroughly enjoyed spectacular service and all of the food. My bottomless pit and I enjoyed the sake misoyaki, crispy rice, hanetsuki gyoza, over the rainbow roll, Mt. Fuji roll, wabisabi, smoke and mirrors and the rock shrimp. We can’t wait to come back soon.
