Good pull-off location. Funky local bar where everyone knew each other. People were enjoying themselves playing pool and visiting at inside and outdoor bars. Lots of loud drunken laughing and smoking on the patio. View was kinda junky out back but a nice setting. Easy parking.

Met the best people out here. Went in there to find a Cosy place to play some chess after a long drive in the forest. The owner his wife and his daughter were really welcoming and so were the visitors that are probably local. I had the best time here. Will be back soon.

I stopped here on my way back from Lake Tahoe when I lost my cell connection. I wasn’t sure of what I was going into. The outside looked pretty much like a dive bar. Although, I was pleasantly surprised to see 5 females including the bartender inside. They reassured me that I was heading in the right direction. I felt comfortable enough to stay a while and play pool. I stepped outside on their deck and enjoyed the beautiful view. The locals I met there treated me well and I would go back in a heart beat. It felt like “Cheers” where everyone knows your name and no one is considered a stranger in their neck of the woods!
