The place is beautiful and set up nicely. The owner is nice too. I would not go back and would advise people with gluten allergies or sensitivity not to go. I said a million times that I’m allergic to wheat and they gave me a roll with wheat battered crab. After I brought it to their attention they argued for a short time before they changed out the sushi roll that was battered. I had to take allergy medicine and didn’t feel heard or cared for about my allergy. If you have no allergies the food is good. Again, don’t go if you have allergies. If I didn’t catch their mistake and ate that whole roll unknowingly without taking my medicine I would have had terrible intestinal problems etc.

The lunch special sushi bento box was excellent! Large fresh portions of fish left me happy and satisfied. My wife had the Kontasu Ramen and was also very happy. The broth was delicious and the port tender and tasty. The green tea was also excellent, the perfect temperature. The service was excellent. I look forward to my next meal here.

The people here are very friendly. Unfortunately the teriyaki chicken was not. I regretfully must say that the sauce reminded me of pancake syrup. The chicken was barely warm as well. While this is the only dish I had mayhap the other dishes may be better.

We went after the Christmas Lights Parade and they were busy, not yet packed but busy. So it took a while to get our food and then it was mixed up for someone else’s. We were starving and then the waitress gave us edamame to snack on. When we got our food it was spot on. Pretty good oco sauce and chicken katsu

First the owner was very nice the pride he took in his work amazed me. The presentation of each dish is truly worthy of Michelin star worthy. It was hand crafted with care and precision. Secondly the prices where amazing. I got at least ten entrees and sake and appetizer for 70 bucks. most places with this high quality and display go for upwards of 160-200 for what I had eaten. The staff was very friendly if you love sushi and need a good experience come here. Check the hours though before going and give yourself about an hour before close. the dishes take time to make but it’s well worth the miniscule wait.

Excellent sushi! Fish was fresh with a great texture without the “fishy” taste that comes with older fish. Sushi chef was very friendly and it was obvious he takes pride in his work. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The lady who works there. I’m not sure if she’s the owner freaked us out. She would just stare at us, and just kept looking at us the whole time We ate.
Very uncomfortable. The food was mediocre.
And really pricey

We have heard good things about the new O’Hara. So, we gave it a try. We were greeted when we arrived. Very welcoming. The restaurant is small and cozy. Traditional sushi menu. And, there are options to share. Service was quick and attentive. Food was tasty and well portioned. New management is doing a great job. Worth a visit.

The Ukiah Roll and O’Haru Special were really good. Pork bun was excellent. Warm sake was good. Friendly guy, easy-going environment. Wouldn’t mind going here again.

The server was very kind, but unfortunately the food wasn’t good. The ramen was bland and nearly inedible, and the strong carpet smell made the experience unpleasant. At the entrance, there’s a fish tank that’s half evaporated and covered in algae, which set a poor tone from the start. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
