We walked in and were met with a friendly hostess, who had a smile and really kind of brightened up our driving break.
The food came out quick. We didn’t realize it was an express because they have a nice seating area and we were happy to get freshly cooked delicious Japanese style dishes.
The restaurants seem new fresh monochromatic in color and decor with the simplicity that was relaxing and felt stylish.
The restrooms were especially clean, modern spacious, and overall the building felt very new.
Next time we come through these parts, we would definitely stop in for a lunch or dinner because the serving sizes were generous, and the food was very delicious .
The only suggestion I have is that the food tasted healthy and we appreciated the quick express. The only thing that we would change would be one thing..
The food served in Styrofoam take out boxes seem too cheap in the meal that was so tasty and so healthy.
Our recommendation for the food and for the planet find an alternative to Styrofoam.
The food is so healthy. It deserves an earth healty container.

It’s the best sushi in all of Baton Rouge me and my boyfriend come here regularly 30+ times and the food has always been great. If you want to try the most delicious roll ever try the titanic roll and make sure to ask for one of the squeeze bottles with the orange sauce 10/10

It’s affordable, but doesn’t really rank very high as sushi places go in town. HOWEVER plenty of their rolls are absolutely scrumptious. They also have a great menu variety, including seafood boil and wings.

The place was very clean and inviting. We ordered the Sesame chicken dinner and the General Tso dinner. The lady who took our order was very pleasant and helpful. We received our food between 5 and 10 minutes. It was hot and fresh! Very delicious! We enjoyed it immensely! We will return again!

I came to this OEC an hour before close on a Sunday, usually not the best time for any restaurant around here, but OEC knocked it out of the park. Everything was gas, i got the General Tso meal, a few egg rolls, and my gf had the chicken and steak hibachi dinner. All of our food tasted fresh and the portions were gigantic. This isn’t one of those Chengs/Soji esque places where you’re going for bleeding edge cuisine, its more of a hole in the wall style that serves cheap, good food at great portion sizes. This place is the king of takeout on Oneal! All of this food was $30.

My boyfriend and I have eaten at OEC quite a few times since they opened. We’ve tried the hibachi, sushi, and juicy seafood. The prices are great for the portions you get! We love all of the sushi options and the quality of them. Sometimes the hibachi could use more sauce or flavoring, but they are still really good!! The service is amazing, they are always kind and helpful.
