My experience at O Bois was a mix of good ambiance but disappointing food and service.
The onion soup looked nice, served in bread with melted cheese on top, but unfortunately it lacked flavor. The Fondue Savoyarde tasted almost exclusively like Emmental, even though it was advertised as being made with four different cheeses. There was no real depth to the flavor. On a positive note, the steak was good for the price, and the accompanying sauce was enjoyable.
Where O Bois truly shines is the setup and ambiance. The wooden interior, chimney, and candle lighting create a warm and cozy atmosphere that feels perfect for a French-style dining experience.
However, the overall experience didn’t match the setting. The food was below average, and the service was just average. It didn’t feel like an authentic French dining experience. The place looks the part, but the quality doesn’t fully deliver.
If the prices were more affordable, I might consider visiting again. But at the current pricing, you can get a much better overall experience just 10 minutes away.

The food was superbe . High quality ingredients
Also the indoor menu is very rich

The walking path behind this restaurant has become covered with discarded bottles, cans, wrappers, cigarette waste, plastic bags, and even burned trash, all concentrated directly behind the property.
It gives the impression of a clean image in the front with environmental neglect hidden in the back, right next to a natural area that many people pass by.
For a place that presents itself as premium, this level of waste mismanagement is very disappointing. Clean public spaces matter to everyone, and proper disposal is a basic responsibility.

Ô Bois is hands down one of the best and most recommended restaurants in Lebanon. The food is exceptional—don’t miss the Pierrade Filet de Boeuf, the rich and flavorful Fondue Savoyarde, and the incredible Profiterole with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, which is simply divine.

The place itself is absolutely stunning — beautiful views, elegant spaces, and a perfect atmosphere for such a special day. The organization and attention to detail were flawless from start to finish. A huuuuuuge praise to chef Élie… The selection, buffet presentation and food quality was top notch.. All invitees were amazed by all what was on display.
A special shoutout to Joe, the operations manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. His professionalism, calm attitude, and genuine care made all the difference. Thank you to the whole team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable!
