Dinning here is more than a meal. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Vibrant menu of authentic Turkish food. Kebabs are marinated and grilled with perfection. Vegetarian options are also available. Their chicken sheesh is the best and highly recommended. Don’t forget to save room for the desert. Whether you are long term Turkish food fan or trying for the first time this restaurant is sure to impress. We have been eating there from last 11 years. Love it

Visited this NYSA Turkish restaurant recently In Nelson . The food was delicious and full of nice flavours. The ambience was pleasant and comfortable, making it a nice place to dine. However, the portion size was a bit small compared to the price. Overall, it was a good experience with tasty food and nice atmosphere, but slightly larger portions would make it even better.

Delicious Turkish food. My friend and I came here three times in our one week in Nelson because it was so tasty. The chicken is well marinated and juicy. The small size was a great portion. The large size comes with an additional row of chicken.
My friend is vegetarian and ordered the mixed vegetarian kebab and she says it’s the best she has had. I would show a picture of it but she ate it so fast that I do not have one. She highly recommends it for any fellow vegetarians.

NYSA was my favorite meal in Nelson. The lamb and kofte shish were great. We also finished with some tasty Turkish delights. The owners are so nice and welcoming. Definitely come and support them and eat great Turkish food.

What a brilliant find we just happened upon last night. From the welcome to the farewell and everything in between, I cannot recommend NYSA enough. The food was delicious and plentiful. Pricing was very reasonable for the food and drink served. This family run business is second to none. Thank you for such an amazing feed!

Nice and cosy family run Turkish restaurant with a good, fresh food and friendly service. Delicious Turkish food and many options with something for everyone’s taste. Multiple vegetarian and vegan options on request. We tried Vegetarian maze platter and it was amazing giving a chance to try a bit of everything. Pita bread with hummus is delicious and freshly made.
Owner was very nice and customer friendly, but young waitress not so much, she clearly doesn’t wants to work here and wasn’t very polite. Luckily food was really great and that’s what we came for.

Very nice Turkish food and welcoming staff. The Pilish chicken special was delicious with fresh salads and the Halep sauce was especially tasty. Dine in or take away.

We chose this place looking for no fuss, homely Turkish food and it delivered beyond expectations. The chefs platter for 2 was huge and incredibly well priced. Everything was cooked and/or spiced to perfection, and it is clear that the owners put a lot of care into everything.
