NYC Halal Eats is a fantastic spot with a welcoming vibe. The interior is clean, modern, and nicely designed, making it a comfortable place to dine in. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The chicken gyro was perfectly seasoned, the Philly cheeseburger was juicy and satisfying, and the sweet chili wings had the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. The halal bacon burger was rich and tasty, and the chicken over rice was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Customer service is excellent—staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. Overall, it’s a great place for quality halal food with a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

NYC Halal Eats – Highly Recommended!

Absolutely loved my experience at NYC Halal Eats! The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The food was incredibly tasty and honestly better than many big-name brands. You can really tell they use quality ingredients.

The burger and white fish were fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic—nothing artificial or overprocessed. The highlight for me was the Oreo + Dubai chocolate milkshake… it was out of this world! Rich, creamy, and perfectly indulgent.

To top it all off, the Biscoff cake was excellent—soft, rich, and absolutely satisfying.

If you’re looking for genuine halal food, amazing desserts, and great service, this place is a must-visit. Will definitely be coming back!

THE FOOD
The food was great the 3 dishes we purchased. Where as follows Chicken Cheese Steak which was a pretty good. It could’ve had slightly more meat to bread ratio which you can see in photos. But overall it was a good sandwich. Next up the Steak Platter, less just say this right here was awesome. I typically don’t eat steak however the wife had this platter. And the steak was so tender even I ate multiple bites. The overall taste flavor rice texture etc was all top tier. Finally we have the Salito Fries with chicken. These bad boys are hands down top 10 best loaded fries I’ve ever had. They where my daughter’s however I put a dent in them forsure. The portion sizes relative to price was great. The price overall is more then reasonable period. My only con was that they were outta waffles. For chicken n waffles that’s why I rated 4 stars on the food.
ATMOSPHERE/SERVICE
This place aesthetically is pleasing it has great artistic design. The look, is street NYC urban flavor. The layout is very open air spacious lots of seating & its overall clean. The vibe from staff was so so a little bland. Not as up beat really as expected. As the overall look gives you awesome vibes upon entering. Then boom you’re hit with a none energetic or up beat staff to match. Will instantly take you down a notch. So suggestion to management, Harness those vibes as I felt great when I first came in. Make food suggestions let the customers in on what’s good and best sellers.
Overall experience I give them 5 stars with all things considered. This rating is only reflective. Based on restaurants comparative to it’s genre. Not comparative to fine dining true 5 star restaurants.

I had the #1 Chicken Platter and it was excellent! There is a line and that is because it is worth waiting for this quality of food. Fries were hot and crispy, salad was cold, chicken and rice hot and fresh. White sauce excellent! No notes, would eat again. I want to come back and try more menu items!

Very clean and welcoming place . Wings are very good, very fresh and good burgers, not a fan of the gyro but the chicken salad was very fresh and delicious. Fries could be cooked a lil more for my taste. All in all so glad I tried them, I will be back guys thank you for superior service. Salute gentlemen

Bright, beautiful, inviting, fun decor that caught our eye after a mall visit. The food offerings are vast but we were there for dinner so we each got platters. A chicken, lamb and combo platter. The lemonade is disgusting though… tastes like melted lollipops and unnatural.

The restaurant was super cute. I was excited to try the food here after reading so many wonderful reviews. It was clean. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in or even when I got to the counter. I did appreciate the vegetarian options. My food wasnt hot. I ordered the falafel platter.

This place probably serves the best chicken/gyro over rice in Greenwood area, closest to New York street style. Ordered the Monster platter that comes with chicken, lamb gyro and falafels, served over rice, with salad and lots of fries, drizzled with white sauce (dont stop till I say so), chipotle sauce and hot sauce. Portions are humongous (1 portion can easily be shared between 2 people); and the rice and meat are all very flavorful. Falafels were okayish in comparison to everything else (more on the crumbly side than on the crispy side, might skip them next time and opt only for chicken and lamb combo platter). Must try when in the area or when craving for this type of food!!

Me and my wife stopped by here tonight to try it. I have to say the food is amazing the staff is very friendly. We had the steak fajitas and chicken fajitas both of which were a very decent portion paired with the sauces. I recommend trying this place out you won’t be disappointed. They also have the viral ice cream that looks like the mangoes and peaches.

NYC Halal Eats is hands-down one of the best halal spots in the area!
The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Their chicken and lamb platters are perfectly seasoned, portions are generous, and everything tastes authentic. The burgers and Philly cheesesteaks are also a must-try — juicy, well-made, and packed with flavor.

The staff is welcoming, the service is quick, and the place is clean and well-organized. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or feeding the whole family, NYC Halal Eats never disappoints.

Highly recommended — you’ll definitely come back for more!
