I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at NYC Halal Eats.

I ordered food from here yesterday for my child. While feeding her, I noticed something in the fish that looked like a parasite or worm. You can imagine how disturbing that is when you’re serving food to your kid.

I immediately went back to the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. The employees told me the manager wasn’t there, took my number, and said he would call me. When he finally did, he told me to come back the next day at 5 PM.

I came back exactly when he asked, and once again the manager was not there. Instead, the staff showed me an uncooked fish and tried to explain that the thing I found was a “fish vein.” Whether that’s true or not, I didn’t eat the food and my child was already being fed it when I discovered it. I simply asked for a refund.

Instead of resolving the situation, they told me to wait another 10 minutes for the manager, as if my time didn’t matter. After already coming back once because they asked me to, I felt completely disrespected as a regular customer.

Food safety and customer service should be taken seriously especially when a customer finds something questionable in their food. The way this was handled was unprofessional and frustrating.

Very disappointing experience.

Okay but this crispy chicken sandwich with tenders and fries was soooo good
Went there around lunch time today. The chicken was perfectly crispy outside and super tender inside , you can tell it was fresh and high quality. Fries were hot, crispy, and not greasy at all.

Big shoutout to the chef, because everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly
Plus, the restaurant was really clean, which I always appreciate.
Definitely a meal I’d order again without thinking

This food was amazing! My husband and I just found this little gem, and let me tell you—after the first visit, we doubled back the very next day like two people with no self-control.

Not only is the food top-tier, but the customer service is chef’s kiss too. We dined in today and OMGGG… the food looked so good I swear my diet tried to pack its bags and walk out.

Definitely a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend—just don’t blame me when you keep coming back! ️

The staff’s attentiveness and genuine interest in ensuring customer satisfaction are truly commendable. During my most recent visit, the employees went above and beyond, regularly checking in on our table to ensure everything met our expectations. The menu offers an impressive variety of options, catering to diverse tastes and cravings. Additionally, the cleanliness and upkeep of the establishment are noteworthy. I highly recommend NYC Halal Eats and look forward to returning soon. I’m confident that anyone who visits will have a similarly positive experience.

I can’t say enough good things about NYC Halal Eats in Warren! Every time I visit, the food is fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot—especially the mixed platter, which is my absolute favorite. The portions are generous and the sauces are amazing (seriously, don’t skip the white sauce!). The staff always greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome, and the service is quick even when they’re busy. The place is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe. If you’re craving delicious halal food, this is definitely the spot to try. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience eating there with my friend. the food was flavorful and perfectly cooked. the chicken and lamb and shrimp were juicy and yummy. i loved their fries too, the rice was seasoned just right, and the white and hot sauces just made it taste even better. the portions were generous for the price, and the staff were friendly and quick with service. its one of the best halal spots i tried and i find myself going back every other week to grab lunch from there.

I can’t say enough good things about this new restaurant on County Line Road, Greenwood. The food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. The portion sizes are huge. We truly should have shared a dinner. We did save room for dessert. The Dubai Strawberry Cup…yum! Check them out!

An amazing dining experience… the food was well sauced and the lamb was succulent! The fries were crisp and the the veggies tasted as though they had been harvested that day! Definitely would recommend the lamb platter it was overall phenomenal. Along with the food being good, the customer service was top notch. The cashier was quite nice to talk to and the food came out relatively fast (under 7 minutes). NYC Halal Eats… you did amazing!

NYC Halal Eats used to be one of my favorite spots, mainly because of their Salito fries — they were my go-to every time. That’s honestly why I liked this place so much.

But my recent visit was really disappointing. The price has gone up to $13.99, yet I was charged $15.25, which I don’t understand. On top of that, the quality has clearly gone downhill.

The fries were not cooked properly, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was nowhere near how it used to be. It feels like the prices went up, but the food got worse.

I don’t mind paying more if the quality stays the same or improves, but this was not worth it at all.
