I tried this place off of the good reviews but I highly doubt I’ll try it again! I ordered their brown stew turkey wings and I received no actual full wing it was simply the fatty end pieces. If they were out I would’ve had no issue ordering something else but the fatty end pieces that’s what they gave me really threw me off. And I hate to say it but I didn’t even like the sides I was given my rice and cabbage seemed really overcooked.

Mind you , this was $25 and I asked for them to add sweet plantains. He didn’t even show me my food like regular Jamaican restaurants do before they tie up the bag and send you on your way. Even the oil is too much. This is why outside food culture is dying.

I was in the area and I was hungry, so I stopped in after looking at a few reviews. It was just okay but the service was really good though.

The prices were reasonable. Definitely try them out for yourself to get your own experience.

Now I does try to give people the benefit of the doubt but come on now. I come and try the little food because people give a good review but this the second time it prove not to be. I ordered a small oxtail and white rice with macaroni pie. The rice crunchy crunchy like a crix cracker and half the oxtail full of fat and the rest tough like leather. Oh gosh, now for the macaroni. The macaroni didn’t even make it out the store, I straight told them I don’t want it no more. If all you did see the foolishness they give. First off I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the supposed pie that cook already. As I’m standing there I’m hearing the microwave beeping but I aint pay it now mind. The young man bring the macaroni in a clear container. Clear as day noodles with curdles of cheese in between and oil sitting at the bottom. So come on now really we does bake macaroni pie in a microwave? All you have to do better and for the young man in there smile baby be more approachable. I can’t trust the people of Atlanta taste buds, all you does eat any and everything

When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted with a smile. The vibe of the place was that of a normal, clean Jamaican restaurant. I decided to try their large stew chicken with cabbage and their rice and peas with medium gravy. All of the food in my meal tasted good. The chicken had a nice flavor to it and was very tender, not being underseasoned or overly seasoned. The cabbage tasted pretty plain, but clean (I was hoping for a likle spice), but that didn’t break or make the meal. The rice and peas were nice and fluffy, not overly cooked and mushy, they gelled well with the stewed chicken sauce. The plantains were sweet and not too mushy. The serving size was good. Overall, it was a great tasting, good-looking plate. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I’ll definitely be going back to try more.

This food is awful. specifically the jerk chicken. it’s literally barbecue sauce and labeled as “jerk”…. The mac and cheese and steamed vegetables are TERRIBLE. and the wait time was an HOUR and there were 2 people in front of me……

I thought I had found my go to spot for Curry Goat. The first time I visited, the curry goat was so good! I was bragging to everyone about this spot. This past weekend I placed an order for curry goat over the phone. Once I arrived, I tell the guy my name, he doesn’t seem to know who I am and is unaware of what I ordered. So once I reminded him of my order, he’s like “Oh yeah” and proceeds to fix it. It did seem the food had been sitting. It didn’t even smell right but I gave everything a pass because it was so good last time. I didn’t eat any that night but tonight I did and….YUCK YUCK YUCK is all I can say. The texture was perfect but the taste was bland and unseasoned. I tried two other pieces just in case a bad one had snuck in there. NOPE! All nasty. My stomach is even starting to turn. I threw it all away. Money wasted. I don’t want to give up because it was so good the first time. The one thing I will do different next time is taste it before I leave.

The worst Jamaican food I have had this far! I ordered oxtails. Paid $40 approximately. I specifically asked for no plantains, as I. Allergic, and they included them. The portion was so small on the oxtails. And to make matters worse they had a bunch of rosemary sticks in the sauce, one was hard enough to poke my gums. Such an unpleasant experience! Picture attached is of all the sticks I removed so I could eat.
