Both times I’ve been here have been great experiences overall. They have a wide variety of whiskey selection. Their food is good but I wish they had a larger menu. Service is alright, could be a bit more attentive at the front of the restaurant and during service. Restaurant is usually quiet. Beers on tap are great. They make a mean burger here.

Stopped in on a nice sunny Saturday for dinner.
The food was amazing, our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I would recommend the SW chicken egg rolls and the spicy margarita ( if they still have it!)

This was the first time that I’ve been to this restaurant. It was amazing. The bloody Mary’s were out of this world. The server and bartenders were really nice. They have a great energy. I really enjoyed my meal.

Great bar with a great atmosphere. I felt they deserved a review given how long I can remember they’ve been on the downtown Lisle strip, and my only regret is not having checked it out sooner.
They offer a deep selection of whiskeys and I’d absolutely go back and continue expanding my tastes. For those who might be looking for something else, there are of course other beverages and cocktails and great food to go along with them.
Lots of bar space, a warm atmosphere, and plenty of TVs to watch any sports you could want.

Mule was good, Brussel sprouts were great, but the pork poutine? Doesn’t work. There’s no cheese curd, just melted cheese, the gravy tastes more like an au jus, and the Giardiniera doesnt really work with it. Didn’t see my server much either but at least the food didnt take long

We came in tonight with a party of seven after hearing it was Smashburger night, and every single person ordered one — zero regrets. The smash burgers were absolute perfection, and the cauliflower bites were so good that my 7-year-old completely devoured them. Not a crumb left on any plate and not a drip of sauce in sight.
Service was top-notch, the place was buzzing, and the vibes were spot on. Just an all-around great night with great food and great energy. We’ll definitely be back!

Tried this place on a Saturday night with my husband. We started off with Old Fashioned and Nojito. The drinks were amazing. We then had cheese curds for starters which were delicious and super fresh. For main course we had Black Bean Burger with Tomato Basil Soup and NWB Burger with Mac & Cheese. The food was tasty and served hot.
Our server was super sweet, warm and attentive. The ambiance was decent.

Came here to watch the first half of the Bears v. Packers with a very hungry crew and we left feeling we would’ve been better off at home. Started with the cheese curds, which were barely warm and sitting in a puddle of grease. Felt like they were sitting in the back after spending too long in not hot enough oil. Very mushy and set in your stomach like led. Was willing to set higher hopes for entrees, but was disappointed again. Partner got the burger with a side of soup. Burger was fine, but the soup was barely warm. Tomato soup was also barely warm. I got the $24 meat and cheese board and it was no better than a Boar’s Head board from the grocery store. Would not have been surprised if the meats and cheeses were from a pre-packaged board and put on a new plate. Can not tell you how bad this was, every part was either bad tasting, stale, or just plain gross. Best part was the grapes and apricot spread.
Service was fine, if not a little slow, but at least the food came out fast… Certainly will not be on our return list.

The food here is amazing! There’s plenty of options and interesting choices. The whiskey and bourbon list cant be beat! Service was great and refreshments were brought without having to ask or prompt. Our waitress, her name started with an H, sorry, was able give recommendations from both menus and they did not disappoint. The only reason the atmosphere gets a 4 is because of the lightning. It was dim and made reading the menu difficult. Its hell getting old! Great Job NWB!
