I appreciate that you can walk around a bit and explore the balcony area even if you are not sitting at a seat directly by the window. It seemed that most seats up there have a nice view regardless. Great date night spot!
I also tried the sliders, which were delicious, and the accompanying sauce with the French fries was amazing. I would definitely eat there again and highly recommend this rooftop spot if you can get there early—try to grab a good seat next to the fire; it’s fantastic.
Additionally, I want to mention that the hostess stand has a sign stating that gratuity is automatically added to all receipts. Many rooftop bars don’t inform you about this upfront, and it’s frustrating to realize later when you leave a large tip. But this place was honest and clear about it—kudos for that!
The first hotel lobby was straightforward. The second lobby, after the first elevator, was where things unraveled. We were supposed to meet a concierge to be escorted up the next elevator, but no one was present. No signage, no guidance, just an empty lobby where we wandered for nearly twenty minutes wondering if this was part of the process or simply poor coordination.
When we finally made it upstairs, the rooftop was also empty. It’s winter, so that wasn’t surprising, and honestly, it ended up being the best part. The quiet, open fires, and city views created an intimate atmosphere that felt far more intentional than the service ever did.
The food and drinks were the highlight. We ordered the crab cakes, which were excellent, and a selection of cocktails that were genuinely marvelous. As a former mixologist, I don’t say that lightly—the balance, presentation, and craftsmanship were all there.
Unfortunately, service moved at a glacial pace despite the venue being nearly vacant. Drinks and food took far too long to arrive, which is especially frustrating when you’re seated on a cold, open-air patio. Closing out the check was equally slow, requiring me to track down our server.
The final insult came with the bill: an automatic gratuity added to a party of two, with no prior notice. This policy is typically reserved for large groups, and its quiet inclusion felt presumptive and off-putting.
Beautiful views, solid food, and skilled bartenders can’t fully compensate for logistical confusion, sluggish service, and questionable policies. This place has potential, but at the moment, the skyline is doing most of the work. Three stars
As for the food and drinks— they’re a little over priced but so worth it. The mojito was very refreshing but strong. Out of all the food here I’d recommend the Mediterranean platter or the sliders bc the veggies were kinda disappointing.
But gurlll look at the view!!! And parking is right under the hotel and only like 10 to 15 for over 4 hours.
