One of our favorite places to dine!
We went this evening to celebrate my husband ‘s birthday.
The food was superb!
We split a wedge salad, very fresh, generous portion.
My husband had mixed grill( officially off the menu, but they made it for him), I had the veal parmesan, tender veal, tasty sauce ! Both of us had enough left overs for another meal.
JR is always friendly, attentive and efficient.
Always a wonderful experience.

The Nutmeg has been a wonderful venue to work with and the customers we have serviced there seem very happy with their events. They also have hooks available on the fireplace, which make it very easy for us to provide balloon garlands for showers and celebrations.

We’ve dined here on occasion over the years, attended bowling banquets, hosted several large birthday parties. Always pleased, but it’s been a while.We went for a late lunch in the recent snowstorm, mainly to see if the place was still nice enough for an upcoming milestone birthday party. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our meals – my escargot appetizer deserves special mention! – and the service was just excellent. The place looks to be in great shape. Our waiter alerted the event planner we wanted to speak with her, and she was prepared with every detail. We booked our event that day!

Linnea and I just got married there on April 12. This place is amazing. We had our ceremony and reception here. The food was spot on. The staff were amazing, they attended to everyone’s needs and took special care of my mom who’s nearing 84 years old. The ambiance was perfect for our very special day. Natural light abounds with windows from many sides. We had eaten here many times for dinner and brunch and we’re never disappointed. The private room for the bride was perfect. The venue made our special day perfect from A to Z. A shout out to Brian and Barbara from the Nutmeg who made the day just that extra special.

Food average. Bar good. Expected more holiday decor. Party of 6. Will select a different restaurant next time our group gets together. Overall, experience close to not worth the bill. Service was ok, but could have been more attentive with very few diners in the room we were in. In all fairness to the facility they were hosting a large Christmas party in the banquet area. But just the same…..

Really enjoyed our meal here! Took a chance on open table while looking for some place to dine. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Even let us pick our table. The salad is HUGE we split a Cesar. The portions are generous, had the chicken parm and Greek pork chops. Looking forward to going back. Glad we gave it a try.

Perfect Sunday brunch! From the basics to the unexpected this buffet was amazing. All the breakfast items were available bacon eggs French toast home fries… I enjoyed the made-to-order omelettes. There was a beautiful assortment of salads from traditional to a pumped-up caprese and a cabbage and carrot salad…don’t get me started on the assortment of pasta salads. The carving station offered three selections of freshly carved meats, ham, roast beef and lamb. Now let’s talk desserts… Cheesecake pastries a chocolate pudding dessert assorted cakes and pies… I chose the red velvet, fitting with Valentine’s celebration. The service was welcoming and attentive. The wait staff was quick to refill our coffee and remove our plates checking infrequently to see if we need anything. Chef’s at carving station and omelette bar were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

We recently had our 50th High School Class Reunion at The Nutmeg Restaurant. The venue was amazing. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The food was exceptional, with many options. Everything went smoothly thanks to staff. We had a great time!
