Friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious food. Wait time is about 10-15 minutes depending on the time you visit. I would recommend calling ahead by the time you get there your food will be done.

If I can rate them a negative I would. This restaurant had been a go to for us especially for their Jollof rice. We buy frequently, we refer friends and family because we believed in the quality of the food, however this recent experience today with their customer service was absolute trash. You people should be ashamed yourselves, you are a disappointment to the African food community in particular. I called to order half pan of Jollof rice as we frequently do, and I was told it was $50. I was shocked and inquired further if the pricing was correct as I had just purchased the same pan a week or two prior or $35. The lady was so rude saying they’ve been selling it for over a year for $50 which was absolutely not true!! I explained to her the situation, and she said that’s how they sell, yelling on the phone, I had to caution her several times to bring her voice down and then proceeds to hang up the phone on me. My household alone has spent over $2000 with these people since we moved to the area. You will not be getting another dime of my money or anyone I know, and I will be sure to let everyone I have referred know that your service is absolute trash. If I was the owner best believe whomever that woman I spoke to would be fired immediately. And absolute disgrace.

I eat here all the time, and for good reason—this place serves some of the best Nigerian food I’ve had outside of home. It’s super convenient since it’s close to my university, and after a long day of classes and athletics, nothing hits like food from Nu’Shiloh.

My go-to combo is the jollof rice with plantain and goat meat—it’s perfectly spicy, the plantains are always fried just right (crispy edges, soft in the middle), and the goat meat is tender and well-seasoned. You can tell they take their time with the cooking.

The vibes are calm and welcoming, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Service is friendly and they’re supplied with a great assortment of beverages!

Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic, homemade-style Nigerian food. 10/10, I’ll keep coming back!

I previously had a problem and went to speak with the owner. She was very apologetic, understanding & completely listened to my concerns . It could have very well been a misconception on my part. Sometimes all it takes is a conversation. The food is consistently delicious & fresh. You can tell the food was made with love. Try them. You will not regret it.

I don’t know how this so called “restaurant” is still in business, the food is disgusting, the pounded yam tasted like they put soap in it and the fish as well. I don’t trust these people, the ladies here are very rude and nasty. Never again. This place is a disgrace. Messing with people’s food is never good! God sees everything. Very wicked people. And the food is not fresh.

If i could give them a 0 i would. Only good thing about this place is how affordable their food is, besides that you’re in a for a ride. Food is old and stale, the restaurant staff are very rude, it’s like you’re begging them to do their job for food you’re paying for. 0/10 would not recommended.

I called in to place an order but like everyone who is new or hasn’t placed an order in a while would ask questions; I did that. But the lady over the phone was so frustrated that she couldn’t calm down to understand. If you must run a business, make sure whoever is managing the phone is kind and not an angry person. I had to cut the call. I couldn’t stand being disrespected like that.

We had food catered for my party and it was amazing. Every single dish was a 12/10, specifically the asaro, buka stew, and jollof rice. My friends and family all loved it! Thank you!❤️

I just wish they would respect customers and not have such a nasty attitude for no reason. It’s really a shame. And I’m African and cannot defend them against what people say about their nasty “hurry up and buy” no pleasantness attitude. I would drive farther just to not give them my money. It’s a shame. A simple smile and a hello thank you for coming in is all it takes. Then you can have an attitude and most people would ignore it. And it seems to be how a lot of the African restaurants are. They aren’t the only ones but this is just for this review. I can only come here when I am in the mood to deal with the attitude.
