Been here a few time over the years and it’s still good. Had the steak pie and chips, lovely tender beef in a rich gravy. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Tender stem broccoli and green beans were also lovely!
2 x steak pies, 1 x sticky toffee pudding, 1 pint and 1 x large wine £57

Phenomenal.
– Waiter was excellent. Conversant with the menu and made a great recommendation. I think the Americans at the next table loved his kilt! Wish I’d gotten his name.

– Food was great. Particularly the recommended venison starter. I really enjoyed my steak pie (it had been a long day, and I was hungry)

– Very reasonably priced for the quality.

– Easy location.

The town felt quiet on a snowy November evening – No27 was bustling and had a good vibe.

Came in for a spot of lunch after a long morning exploring Inverness.
We discovered the amazing lunch menu (2 courses for £20!) and couldn’t resist.
We ordered drinks and food, and everything came over promptly. The mussels were EXCEPTIONAL. My pie was also delicious and the pastry top very flaky.
We loved everything, and would highly recommend.
The only very slight negative was that we were automatically charged for pints of soft drinks as appose to standard size without being asked. When I queried it, they happily changed it on the bill but it was a bit odd.

Awesome spot! The Cullen skink was LOADED with seafood, they were not shy! Deliciously creamy yet light. Steak pie was good too, maybe could’ve used some salt but everything was cooked nicely. Veggies were fresh and potatoes were creamy. Couldn’t ask for much else!

Beautiful restaurant both the decor and food. We came across this, arrived around 2.30pm, got a table for 2 straight away. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and definitely recommend for food!

Amazing experience! The service was lovely, and the pan-fried duck was exceptionally tender and crispy. The toffee pudding was also a standout, offering a perfect balance of temperatures and textures. Truly happy to have found such a gem in Inverness after a poor experience yesterday.

Absolutely fantastic meal here. The staff, atmosphere, and food were wonderful. One of, if not, the best places to eat out in Inverness.

Our party had the haggis, brie, and cranberry and prawn starters, which were excellent meals and perfectly portioned.

The mains were just as great. We had the chicken with bacon, haggis, and mash. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The lamb tagine was cooked perfectly.

Overall, this was a great bar and restaurant, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. 10/10 would recommend if you’re visiting Inverness!

Veey friendly service, great atmosphere and food was 10 out of 10. My husband had the venison while I had the highland chicken with the honey and whiskey sauce and words fail, it was one of the best meals I have ever had, truly delicious and I did not want it to end. But it did so we consoled ourselves with a wonderful vanilla and fudge cheesecake A special mention to the bar and I know it is Inverness’s cocktail week but the margarita was the best I have ever had, so I had to have another! The espresso martini was pretty good too. Be back soon and thank you, a birthday treat for us to remember x
