My friend and I ordered the recommended dishes!
The salt and pepper calamari was my favourite. The thai style sauce added a refreshing tangy element that complimented the crispy richness of the calamari.

There were a couple of things that made it seem rushed.
1. A lemon wedge with visible seeds really detracts from the presentation of the dish.
2. I wish there was more ingredients/toppings in the Mama Tom Yum Hot Pot Really heavy on the noodles, but light in the amount of crispy pork, minced pork and mushrooms.
2. No fried mung bean on top of our mango sticky rice like pictured!

Overall, a really easy eat to walk into for dinner. It was packed by the time we left at 7pm!

We paid cash, giving us a 5% discount. It was roughly $25pp, between two.

ORDERED:
E8: Salt & Pepper Calamari: Deep fried calamari, salt and pepper served with Thai style sauce ($13.90)
D1: Mama Tom Yum Hot Pot: with thai instant noodles. creamy milk. prawn, calamari, crispy pork, minced pork, mushroom, baby corn, galangal, lime leaves and chili ($22.90)
W1: Mango sticky rice: glutinous rice, fried mung bean, fresh mango and coconut milk (14.90)

A solid go-to for flavorful Thai food without the fuss. Comforting flavors, and a casual atmosphere. especially the lunch specials, and the menu has plenty of options for sharing or customizing your protein.
The chicken curry was delicious — mild on the menu but still a bit spicy for me. That said, the flavor was excellent and very well balanced.

Totally worth the hype.

We ordered grilled chicken on rice and pad see eew. Pad see eew was best in taste however grilled chicken could have been little better.

The prices are very good. Please check the attached bill for 4 people.

Good place. May visit again.

PS: They offer 5% discount on cash

Prawn spring rolls were very good, i would pass on the thai fish cakes- just not my thing. The pad thai and kha na moo grob was very nice too, overall great place just loses a star on the fish cakes and have to pay extra for rice with a main. Will be back though

Number 12 should be called number 1 as its very good.
We tried the tom yum and it was full of fresh citrus flavour. Calamari was soft and tasty. Earlier had the lunch special with pork which was soft and tender.
Service was quick and friendly. A good place to eat

Been here twice and both times the food was amazing and the people were friendly. Definitely coming back again and will recommend it to everyone. The Pad Thai and Chicken Satay are the best I’ve had. Love this place.

While we were in Melbourne, we tried this Thai restaurant because it has a 4.7⭐ Google review.

What we ordered:
️ Mama Tom Yum Hotpot ($22.90) – spicy, tangy, and full of flavour.

Pad Thai ($17.50) – classic taste, well balanced.

Soft Shell Crab in Yellow Curry ($25.90) – rich curry with crispy crab.

Tips:
Pay cash to get a discount.
Weekend surcharge applies.

Service & Portions:
Service was okay, but the owner was very kind. Serving sizes were good, and taste overall was good.

Seating:
Better to sit inside for the nice ambience — outside isn’t as comfortable.

I’m a fans of Thai food and i eat thai food half my life! I grown up in malaysia and always go to thailand. This place i can say is almost authentic. Good taste ! Although i think there is still space for improvement. It fix my crave ! The salmon salad is good but beware very spicy. For the mama hot pot better to choose spicy. The pad Thai not bad! I think lack of the side condiments. Thai food stall normally put on the table.

Overall it isn’t expensive. The chicken was delicious with a flavorful coconut milk and peanut butter. However the mango sticky rice was sooo ordinary.
