This is what they call a fried wonton. An empty wonton wrapper deep fried for $8. When I called to say the fried wontons were just empty crispy noodles, they told me I was confused. No, words have meaning, wontons have filling. Don’t sell me an egg roll and send me an empty egg roll shell. Wouldn’t refund the $8; offered $8 off next order as if I will ever order from them again. Chicken and broccoli was fishy like pure oyster sauce. Egg roll filling was not good. Avoid and order from Lotus Xpress instead.

We found Number 1 Taste Chinese Food via google search. We are hoping this place will be great, as this is our first time and its take out. So, five stars based on how the ordering process was plus the person wanted to make us happy with our dietary requirements. We ordered various items mixing meat (me) and vegetarian (my wife). Also, very cool and amazing they offer brown rice which is very rare in a Chinese restaurant plus lots of Tofu options. This place had a steady traffic of take out orders while we waited and most of them said how much they like this place with one person specifically recommending Peking Ravioli. Maybe next time.

I get food delivered about twice a week. Their Spareribs are the best I’ve ever had. They are thick and juicy. The crab Rangoon is stuffed and so delicious. I wouldn’t order Chinese food anywhere else.❤️

I wish that I had read the reviews before trying this place. After one of our friends recommended this place, we decided to order several dishes today for pick up.
I have to say literally everything tasted either dry, old or simply similar to what you buy in the frozen isle of a supermarket.
The sweet and sour chicken was literally some fried chicken with a cup filled with a pink sauce from a container and canned pineapple (I saw the lady fill it up in front of me).
The orange chicken was everything but chicken.
Overall we paid almost $75 for very low quality and bad tasting Chinese food.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and it was ok but the last 2 times I ordered, the food was horrible. Egg rolls taste weird, fried shrimp had an awful odor and the batter was gray. The rest of the food made me sick for hours after eating ( which I really didn’t have much) Won’t be getting food from here again.

Had the cashew shrimp combo with bones less spare ribs in a pickup order. Was ready very quickly but wish the food had more flavor and seasoning. I was not expecting the food to mainly celery and only got 6 pieces of shrimp and barely some cashews. Would probably try another dish as this is the first time trying but would not go out of my way/nothing spectacular about it. Nice they have soy sauce and duck sauce as the flavor was really bland/lacking.

I wish I could give it zero stars. They took my order, took my money, and didn’t deliver the food. Didn’t even pick up the phone when I called. Left me waiting for hours, starving. A totally unacceptable way to treat your customers. Don’t go here.

Borderline inedible. Sesame chicken had no flavor. beef teriyak was slimey, terrible texture. Beef and broccoli wasn’t good either, no crunch to the broccoli and the beef was again, slimey and chewy but I finished it. Overall, look elsewhere for your Chinese fix.

My go-to for local Chinese food. They are lightning quick and always friendly. Keeping it real: this is not the place for a romantic anniversary dinner. However, if what you want is a hot, delicious, filling meal (especially to-go) this is a sure bet.
