One of the best buffets in Rockford. I’ve been going here for years and it always hits the spot. The staff are friendly and polite; and the atmosphere is pleasant. Their fish tank is also clean, which is something you don’t see in most places in Rockford. If you’re looking to chill and scarf down 3 or 4 plates of food, this is where you wanna go. It’s still affordable too!

This has to be the biggest joke of a Chinese buffet I have ever seen. I would give 0 stars if I could. There wasn’t enough napkins to spit out the nasty food I was trying to eat. There were bugs in the bathroom. The water tasted like eroding tap water. They tried charging us for a dinner buffet at 11 AM! The owner/manager laughed at us when we told her how awful it was and that we weren’t paying for a dinner buffet at lunchtime. You can go anywhere else and have a better experience. Save your time and especially your money. There were additionally 4 people that left when we did that were greatly dissatisfied and they spent $80 for a 4 person meal.

This is a little big place it looks small from the outside, but inside is pretty spacious. It’s not a super buffet but for the location it serves enough to keep you occupied. The food was good and fresh that’s all you can ask for at a buffet. The issue that needs to address is the big mirror in back. It needs to be cleaned thoroughly not just part of it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was bad. Bugs in the bathroom. Service was awful. Tried to charge for dinner when it was 11 AM. We called the manager out and she laughed at us when we asked about the price and told her our food wasn’t good. We told her we would not be paying for dinner as we took a few bites of our food and couldn’t even stomach that. Overall was an awful experience and I don’t recommend to anyone.

I have been eating here for over twenty years, and I keep coming back, but not more than a few times a year. It’s not the best restaurant in town by any means. The food is all fine, but I don’t think it’s super (at least lately), although it’s my son’s favorite restaurant. To be fair, this business model requires a certain level of traffic to operate at peak performance, and with the pandemic issues, that’s rather difficult to do right now.

Oriental buffet could do so much better on there selection of veggies, I wanted a salad so bad and I was really excited to go make it until I get up there and realize it wasn’t what I was expecting at all, they definitely could of had FRESH leafy greens instead of a head of lettuce just pulled apart (I can do that at home for cheaper) half chopped carrots, no labels on any dressing, and sandwich tomato slices.. I’m just saying anyone that wants to actually eat a salad wouldn’t eat it here.. my favorite thing was the fried rice and general tso chicken, they weren’t bad at all on the hot cooked food.. just could use some adjustments to the salad bar definitely
