I usually order from New Hong Kong on South Park avenue but they were closed so I decided to try this place. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with generoso sauce and the boneless spare ribs. The general so sauce was good, but the chicken was mediocre, the batter was not crunchy like Hong Kong kitchen. The spare ribs were very salty and the pork was dry and chewy and had a flavor like it had been reheated. I couldn’t even eat it. Would not order from here again.

The general tso chicken was okay, I ordered the chicken wings and shrimp lo mein, i had never been more disappointed with chinese food, the wings tasted like old oil with a hint of indian spices, and the lo mein was so salty and bland, overall not good 🙁

Was recommended to this place by a client. At first the service was rocky due to miscommunication, but upon picking up food front staff was accommodating. Ordered the general tso& lo mein, fried shrimp, fried rice & beef broccoli. The fried shrimp was burned and thrown out but everything else tasted very good.

This positive review is long overdue! I have been coming here for close to 15 years and I don’t think I’ve EVER had a negative experience. Exactly what you want out of a Chinese takeout restaurant. Staff makes great food, and are always friendly on the phone and at pickup.
I started coming here when I was a teenager, and now I’m in my 30s and I have kids, and this is still pretty much my favorite restaurant ever.
