Talk about homemade Mexican food. The menu offers a “cheese dip”. I asked the owner if it was out of a can. You know, the yellow, runny cheese you can sometimes get? He told me nothing was out of a can! It’s all homemade!
Well, I’m gonna tell you, this cheese “dip” (I’d call it a sauce) is delicious, the beans… home made… they actually had flavor, as well as the rice. We also had medium margaritas, which were very, very good.
I had the lunch mini burrito (3meats!) my husband had taco salad. I liked that the burrito was just full of meat and not a bunch beans and rice filler

This was our first visit here and it was awesome!! It is our new favorite local place. The Texas margarita was a bit spicy and delicious. The nachos were hands-down some of the best we’ve had. We met Jesus, who is part owner and he was super friendly to chat with. The prices are very reasonable, the beer is cold. Highly recommend.

The food is tasty. The service needs attention! It was not busy, but I waited for over 10-minutes before waiter took my order. And,, once served he never checked on me or refilled my drink. I reported the concerns and basically got a shoulder shrug!

This little place, consistently has good food and good service. The weekends in the Pickwick area, make for extremely crowded restaurants, as there are not many places to chose from. Even on very crowded Friday and Saturday evenings, the staff manages to accommodate the crowds. The margaritas are always good and make this a favorite place for many weekend regulars. There are two bar areas and several dining rooms, along with 2 outdoor areas. It’s a much larger restaurant than it appears to be.

Came in because it wasn’t too busy on a Thursday night. Ordered a fajita taco salad. The meat in the salad had absolutely zero seasoning. Wife ordered a rice bowl of some sort, once again meat with no seasoning and the “steak” was the most awkward texture of steak I’ve ever witnessed. One kid ordered chicken rice and cheese and it was the most seasoned meat of anyone’s. The other kid ordered chicken nuggets and fries. He had the best meal hands down. I give it a 2 because of the nuggets and drinks. Regular menu items get a .5/10

The food was delicious however they could use some lessons on what is good customer service. My son ordered a Jarrito and waited around 15 minutes, finally had to get up and go ask the waiter for it and he said he was rude when he did.So what could have been a great experience was less than because of this waiter.At least I enjoyed my food which was a taco,a burrito,and rice and beans.My son had a steak fajita.He said that was good too and the sopapilla and ice cream for dessert was good.
