Great staff! Fun place to dine. Cocktail and drink menu with many nice options. Food menu offers several enticing dishes! I had two pork chops w bitter greens in a tomatillo sauce which were delicious! Just thought it needed a starch to go with it.
My husband had a Spanish coffee after his meal. I sampled it and thought it was excellent!

If you want an amazing, unique Mexican cuisine experience, this is the spot! Their menu is carefully crafted and absolutely delicious and authentic. The chef really knows what he is doing. The cocktails are all absolutely incredible, but I always have to get the El Espadin. Definitely save room for dessert because it is always on point, and pair a nice dessert cocktail with it. I definitely recommend getting a reservation because the wait times can be long if you do not. Been here a few times and cannot wait to come back.

Absolutely love how they have a large selection lighter meals! Wife had the Valentines special Burning Passion Tequila Martini and said it was the best drink she’s ever had. Great atmosphere and our toddler loved the kids meat & cheese empanadas. Very family friendly. Even the house made chips are great!

I visited around 5:30 pm on Saturday and found a spot at the bar. I ordered the Carne asada entree with beans and grilled jalapeño, which arrived in just 5 minutes, along with guacamole and chips. The steak was high quality and well marinated. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. Overall, great food and a lively atmosphere!

When a friend from SE Portland says that this is her favorite Mexican restaurant…you do your best to make a time to go. The bad news is we were short on time. Which just is even a bigger motivation to go again. So many amazing dishes I didn’t get to try. Authentic Mexican restaurant in SE Portland. This is literally the first review I’ve ever done. It was my wife’s birthday and we reserved a table for dinner for three. We were greeted and sat with adequate service. We had our drink and appetizer orders taken by a pleasant fellow and pooooof he disappeared. Without any explanation a new gal comes up and coldly asks, “are you ready to order yet?”
Confused where our initial server had gone we said, “thanks, but not just yet”
she didn’t even have a thoughtful response. “ ok I’ll be back”
Still wondering where our respectful waiter went, the customer service challenged gal came back to take our order.
We ordered something that they were out of, she said it was her favorite, and we should cry because we couldn’t have it…..whhhhat?!!
Shouldn’t specials and what is not available be disclosed at the beginning at a fine establishment like this?
