The young man who was our waiter did an excellent job and was very personable. However, the food was super bland. I ordered the seafood omelet and there was very little seafood. I think I found one very small shrimp and when I opened the omelet, the small amount of seafood was smashed in it so much that I could not recognize what type of seafood it was. The food had no seasoning on it at all. I guess that’s why it’s called Nudy’s. The rye toast and the coffee were delicious though, which is why two stars were given for the food instead of one.
For the most part, our area was clean, but there was a table nearby where food was all over the floor right beneath it and they actually sat customers at that table. I spoke with the customers about asking them to clean that area. It was unbelievable that there were other tables open where they could’ve sat them, yet they put them there. Thankfully, they did finally sweep that space.

My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy’s cafe. What’s different…. food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal. My wife has a medical obligation and this is a welcoming place for me and my little girl to hang out while we wait for that to be over. Maman would have threatened us to leave with their Supreme leader ideology. Nudy’s makes us feel at home. So if you want higher priced lower quality food with poor service, go to maman. If you want, quality service, polite and outstanding employees, top notch food, and a relaxed environment….go to Nudy’s.

I’ve been to this Nudy’s location more times than I can probably count over the last 4ish years and have never had a bad experience. It can be busy on a weekend depending on the time one happens to go but I’ve never had a wait more than 10ish minutes. There is municipal parking just behind the business (around the corner). The food has always been of consistent quality (and I would know as my girlfriend and I tend to get the same things every time we go) and it arrives at the table dizzyingly fast. Prices are reasonable for brunch without alcohol and the environment is kept clean and tidy in all the times I’ve been there. I personally don’t think the food is particularly “adventurous” per se but that isn’t a reason to subtract a star, just my own personal taste.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot that is tasty, consistent, and fast, you can’t go wrong with Nudy’s in Ardmore.

Food was horrible! My oatmeal tasted like wallpaper! Despite the 3 additions. I sent it back only to get worse service. I ordered a blue berry pancake to go: no butter, no whip cream.
Next time: it’s Jeanie’s Deli!

Went here for Brunch on Mother’s day with my sons. My waitress was very sweet and attentive. This is my 2nd time here and the food is always good. Even though it’s in a crowded area, I’m always able to find parking closeby and walk to the restaurant.

Not a great experience here. We walked in and there was one hostess working who was responsible for both seating people and taking payments. The hostess proceeded to take numerous payments while a line of people waiting for tables formed. People who hadn’t been in line to pay were given priority over the people waiting for tables. We asked if we could be seated and were denied until the line of people paying was cleared. Then, she sits us 5 feet from where she was standing in an open booth…could have just directed us to the booth. This place needs a major facelift. Every booth in the place had ripped cushions that were sort of repaired with these large patches. The back cushion was not attached to the wall, so every time the large man behind me leaned into his side, the entire cushion would rock into my back, forcing me into the table. The bathroom was not clean…the urinal in the men’s room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The handle for the paper towel roll was broken off. My wife’s water glass had a big lipstick smear on it. Gross. We will not be back here.

Pretty nice place located in Ardmore. Brunch is average priced brunch in the area, and the service was good. I would love to see at least one more vegan option on here, maybe a Just Egg option somewhere or a Vegan waffle. One of the people I was dining with got the hot chocolate and thought it was not good, another review also pointed this out, they were also unable to make it with milk because it is made in a machine, which is fine but it would be great to have another option! I got avocado toast without the egg, I have never had tahini on avocado toast, it was nice but presentation could have been better and I would maybe love to see a veggie with this, I think chopped tomato or something would be good to help bring out texture and flavor. Crepes and waffles I was told are very good! I appreciated seeing gluten free pancakes on the menu and there are both breakfast and lunch options here. Another note is table was pretty small and many tables were this size, so if you have a lot of big plates it is difficult to spread it out. Interior was very nice inside the restaurant though, typical brunch vibes. Quick seating. Overall, I am not sure if I would return but it was nice to go out for brunch here! Also, parking is not the best but there is a parking garage nearby, but this is pretty true for a lot of Ardmore.
