I celebrated my birthday at Nubeluz and had such a great experience. The rooftop is truly one of the best in the city – the views are absolutely stunning and make the whole experience feel special and elevated.

The atmosphere is chic, elegant, and perfect for a celebration or a classy night out. I would definitely recommend going on a weekday since it’s much more enjoyable and less crowded.

The food is good for bar-style bites, but it’s not really a place to come for a full dinner. It’s more about the cocktails, the ambiance, and the overall experience.

The views are the first thing that grab you—truly capturing the beauty of the city and setting the tone for the entire experience. There’s definitely a premium on the drinks, but it feels well worth it for the setting alone. Service was excellent, and the cocktail menu offered an impressive variety of thoughtfully crafted, genuinely unique options. My partner and I found ourselves wanting to try more than a few. An elevated, memorable spot that’s perfect for a special night out.

I recently tried the high tea at Nubeluz, and it turned out to be a memorable and beautifully executed experience. Nubeluz is known for its skyline views and modern atmosphere, and those elements definitely elevate the high tea. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a panoramic sweep of Manhattan that immediately sets a luxurious tone. The space feels contemporary and stylish, very different from the traditional settings you find in classic afternoon teas.

The food was excellent — thoughtful, refined, and visually impressive. The savory bites had clean flavors, and the pastries were delicate without being overly sweet. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation added to the experience. The tea selection was also quite good, and the staff were helpful in guiding us through the choices. Service was attentive but relaxed, giving the experience a more modern lounge feel.

Compared to The Ritz in London, the difference is clear but enjoyable in its own way. The Ritz is all about tradition, ceremony, and formality — the classic tiered trays, the live music, and the unmistakable old-world charm. Nubeluz, on the other hand, feels contemporary, sleek, and more playful. Instead of ornate décor and formal tea service, you get dramatic city views and a stylish, cosmopolitan vibe.

The Ritz London focuses on preserving an elegant ritual, while Nubeluz offers a reinterpretation of afternoon tea that fits New York’s energy. Both are excellent experiences, but they appeal to different moods: the Ritz when you want classic refinement, and Nubeluz when you’re in the mood for something modern with a bit of sparkle.

Overall, high tea at Nubeluz is a beautiful, delicious, and uniquely New York experience, and it stands strong even when compared with iconic high teas abroad.

The bar is located on the top floor of the Ritz Carlton hotel. So as soon as you walk in, it’s lovely. Once you go up the elevator and get off, you’re greeted with a very chic host area. I came on a Friday and had reservations for 4:30. We wanted to time our reservation for a sunset view. The views of the city are stunning and truly one of the focal points as soon as you walk in, which is great if you’re someone who loves a photo op. The space is very Instagramable.
After we checked in with the hostess we were guided to the bar to order a drink while waiting for our table. The bar is very spacious with comfortable seating and friendly and attentive staff.
Once our table was ready we were brought over to a nice booth along the wall with a good view of the whole place. We were promptly greeted by our server, Johnathan. We had some questions about the menu that he answered with ease and even gave us good recommendations. I’m a dirty martini girl, but my mom and sister took his recommendations and absolutely loved their cocktails. We also ordered some food and I wish I could have eaten 10 more of the tuna rolls. They are delicious and I dream about them. I’ll just have to come back the next time I’m in New York.

Nubeluz is an incredible rooftop experience! The views are stunning from every angle.
Such a wonderful afternoon tea experience! The presentation was beautiful — fresh sandwiches, warm scones, and a lovely selection of pastries, The small bites were delicious and paired perfectly with the drinks.

The tea was fragrant and perfectly brewed, with plenty of flavors to choose from. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole experience feel special. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a classy, delicious afternoon tea. Definitely a must-visit spot for amazing experiences and unforgettable view.

I had a great experience at Nubeluz. The views of the city are absolutely stunning — easily one of the best skyline spots in NYC, especially around sunset. The atmosphere feels upscale and chic but still relaxed enough to enjoy with friends or a date night.

The cocktails are creative and beautifully presented, though definitely on the expensive side. You’re paying a bit of a premium for the location and the view, but overall the experience makes it worth it.

If you’re looking for a stylish rooftop with great vibes and unforgettable city views, this place is a solid pick. Would go back for the ambiance alone.

We went for high tea today. Enter the hotel and check in at the stand labeled “Nubeluz” and they’ll direct you to an elevator programmed for RT (rooftop). The hosts, and full staff, were very welcoming and the design aesthetic is so chic. The views of NYC are unbeatable. As for the tea service, the menu was traditional yet creative, fresh, and bountiful portions. My sister is gluten free, which they accommodated with sandwiches & desserts, but they don’t have g-free scones; these are integral to a tea service so that was disappointing. They should have sugar cubes too; they are proper for tea and would add an elegant touch. The space is also very warm during the day. Otherwise, it was a wonderful tea service and I would certainly go back.

We went to Nubeluz for high tea on Sunday. The view and atmosphere are fantastic. The food is served stylishly and tastes very good. However, we were very disappointed by the following: the tea is served in a large pot with 3-4 tea bags already infused. For high tea, and especially in a 5-star luxury hotel like the Ritz Carlton, this is a definite no-go! Every tea lover knows that tea must be brewed fresh at the table to achieve the perfect steeping time (usually a few minutes) for the perfect flavour. In addition, no spoon or plate was provided to remove the tea bags from the pot. And for a high tea costing 130 dollar per person, one should also expect loose, high-quality tea in a tea strainer, not tea bags, and served in smaller pots (not 1-litre pots that are only half full). Another negative aspect was that no explanation was provided at the beginning. After we had eaten the savoury little canapés, which were delicious but not very filling, we politely asked for a refill. We did receive one, but the waitress was not amused. Unfortunately, it is not possible to order espresso or coffee, even at an additional cost. Here, too, we would expect something different in a 5-star luxury setting.

Visited Nubeluz recently and had a great time. The interior is beautiful — modern, elegant, with warm light and reflections everywhere. The crowd is stylish and creates a really pleasant atmosphere.
The music was well balanced, not too loud, and the skyline view makes the experience even better, especially in the evening. Cocktails were very good, the food was tasty, and the service felt smooth and attentive throughout our visit.
Definitely a place I’d come back to for a special evening in New York.
