We could have gotten better sushi at publix and for less. Can’t believe this place has a 4.5. Sushi rolls looked horrible. My 5 year old nephews could have rolled it better. Avocado was turning brown. Very small amount of cream cheese. Bland tasting. The rice was mush. Even the Ginza roll (which I thought was going to be interesting because of the garlic) was tasteless. I was even afraid to eat the seared tuna on top because the coloring didn’t look like anything I have ever seen. Oh, let’s not forget the ginger dressing which had no resemblance to ANY ginger dressing I have eaten. Never going back…even if they are one of the few places open on Monday in NSB.

If you’re looking for good sushi, do yourself a favor and don’t go to this place. If you know sushi, just look at these pics of their “special” rolls. Check out the ratio of rice and fish. The rice itself was terrible, I don’t think it was sushi rice. Fish was not good. Spicy kani salad was mostly cucumber. Gyoza was over fried to crisp that hurt your gums. We were very hungry, but I just couldn’t eat this “creation” and left it as you see in the pics, asking the server to take it back. We were not offered anything to substitute and they charged us full price, $100+

Their rolls are insanely good! Sashimi pieces are generous portions. Love the flavors. Heads up on the Thai chili. Love the heat

This was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! It was flavorful and well made! We were pleasantly surprised! The service was also top notch! We can’t wait to go back!

Ok so I am NOT a review writer but I am making an exception for this place. Absolutely the best sushi I’ve ever had! My girlfriends and I went for a girls night and we are still dreaming of this place 4 days later… we will definitely be eating here again. And the lobster dynamite is a must!

Wow. I always wondered when people would say the sushi wasn’t very good what that meant. Now I know. This place has the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Too much rice, not enough fish, little flavor, not creative. I tried three different rolls that all sounded delicious yet all of them were mushy and lacked flavor. The placed smelled icky and it was dirty. It appeared like they don’t wipe anything off very well or often enough. Dirty doors. Ugh. I would never go back and wouldn’t recommend this place. Bummer as it came recommended from some friends. Maybe they don’t eat good sushi as often as I do.

Decided to try this sushi place, I should have passed. It is a very small and very crowded place. Tables close together and difficult to navigate when occupied. I need a cane to walk with and had to go completely to the back of the restaurant to then get out because there was no room to move between the tables. The table bases are exceptionally large and oddly shaped, so I could not even get my legs under the table to sit properly. The online menu does not match the in house menu and when I asked about an item, the waitress was confused, instead of going to find out from the chefs, she simply said the item was probably not available. They have a large selection of very interesting sushi rolls with both raw and cooked proteins. Their edamame was tasty and served piping hot. I tried their crunch roll and it was tasty. I also ordered their JB roll. But was disappointed, because they had either brushed the sushi roll rice with wasabi or had wasabi all over their fingers when rolling it. Nothing in their description indicated they used wasabi paste on all their rolls! Blech! The salmon sashimi served had been previously frozen and was aging. It was grainy and dry. The pieces were small. I will not be returning to this place.

Sit at the bar and have Brice roll up a few fatties! Located in the Publix plaza next to Bob Ross at studio.

The sushi roll portion is very substantial with dozens to pick from. There’s just a bit too much rice for me.

Kayla was so attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. My mother and I shared the octopus salad and I got the miso soup. I thought they were both delicious along with the Yu Mi roll. It had lobster with garlic butter on top, cream cheese, asparagus, and fried onions. I almost thought of getting a second roll of the same one. The pineapple sake was a little sweeter than I remembered but it was good. Prices are pretty good too ($13 for 10 pieces of what I got), $8 for the octopus, $5 for my sake, and $2.50 for the soup.
