Food was great but I didn’t gravitate towards my ramen like I expected. The chicken was good but needed sauce; my server gave me a wonderful spicy mayo sauce and it was great. The egg sandwich and the devil egg… 10/10!!! Edamame is a very good appetizer! The HH oysters were fresh. Overall a very good and great experience.

As the group next to us said “this place feels like it belongs lower on the island”

It’s a chic, neighborhood option. Every bar seat is taken by 6pm, so go early if you can!

Great happy hour options on the food menu, including non-fishy, high quality oysters. Everything is high quality.

Easy first date, any date spot.

Had NR on our list to go to for ages and finally snagged a reservation! Did not disappoint. Food, cocktails, service all top notch. We got a few baos and the deviled eggs to start, followed with Sapporo ramen and the Katsu special. (Was also very nice that they asked if we wanted to baos cut in half to share.) We ate early and was packed by the time we left! Will be back 🙂

I go everywhere to see how everyone makes their own Old Fashioned and this place makes it special. The seasonal wagyu-fat washed miso old fashioned is on another level and is worth going for alone. The tsukemen ramen is fantastic and is a must order.

Great place!! And absolutely delicious food!! Drinks menu is creative and extensive. Didnt see any drink happy hour deals (unless I missed that), but they have a decent HH for oysters ($1.75 each). I got the Sapporo ramen: the broth stole the show! So good, everyone come here

One of my favorite dry ramen spots. It’s so good and service/ambiance is great too. Nice upscale feel that’s great for dates. Definitely get a reservation.

Don’t miss this place, especially the truffle egg sandwich, sea urchin ramen, and their creative cocktails. Been here a few times and always excited to come back.

Food: Outstanding and flavorful! Their apps are so good- Truffle Egg Sandwich is luscious and sooooo delicious. Melts in your mouth and makes you want to order 5 more. Their Spicy Tuna is great too. Although the tuna and oysters are smaller portions.

For mains, do not miss the the Sea Urchin Ramen! Soooooo good. I usually like soup ramens but NR has the BEST dry ramen. It’s worth the price every time.

Drinks: Their cocktails are delicious! Creative and different each time I go. Always a spin on classics and some of their creative kicks too. Keeps you on your toes to see what’s next.

Vibes: Good space and not too crowded. The tables aren’t squeezed together and the acoustics make it easy for people to talk but it doesn’t echo the whole restaurant. It’s speakeasy vibes and intimate, yet fairly spacious with plenty of chit chat around you. Their bar seating is spacious too.

NR is a beautiful blend of a ramen restaurant and cocktail bar, and they really know how to create a great local vibe. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, and it’s clear this place is loved by the neighborhood regulars.

The food is creative and well-prepared, and everything pairs nicely with their impressive selection of drinks. I think this is a place meant to be enjoyed with good cocktails and good company, rather than just for ramen alone.

If you’re looking for a pure ramen experience, there might be other options in New York — but if you want amazing service, great ambiance, and a fun night out, NR is definitely worth visiting.

The food was good overall and the drinks were absolutely amazing, definitely a highlight of the experience. That said, I wouldn’t recommend the wagyu tartare. The portion was very small and it wasn’t a true tartare. Service was also a bit slow at times, but the quality of the drinks and food helped make up for it.

I really enjoyed the Omani Old Fashioned cocktail and the deviled eggs — they were rich and full of flavor. The Sapporo ramen was a bit too salty for my taste, but the Kyoto ramen had a fresh and delicious broth that I really liked

NR is easily one of the coolest ramen spots I’ve been to in NYC. The ramen is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — the kind you keep eating even after you’re already full. The broth has real depth, the noodles have great texture, and every topping tastes intentional.

On top of that, the cocktail menu is insane. Whoever designed these drinks knows what they’re doing — creative, beautiful, and genuinely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and dim in the best way, making it feel like a little hidden gem.

Service was quick and friendly, and the whole experience just felt effortless. If you want amazing ramen with a vibe, this is the place. Highly recommend.
