Visiting from California. Traveling with a hungry family of four. Food was delicious. Welcoming and attentive staff. I highly recommend. This will be our go – to place if we ever come back to visit relatives.

Nozomi Sushi House truly exceeds expectations with their dedication to freshness. The quality of the fish, flown in daily, is simply outstanding and evident in every bite. This establishment is, without a doubt, the best sushi experience I have ever had in Arizona. I wholeheartedly recommend Nozomi Sushi House to anyone seeking an exceptional meal. It is a culinary gem that deserves all its accolades.

Food is delicious! The tempura and Gyozas are a great appetizer and I have come several times for the rolls and they are all delicious, fast service and they are really friendly. Our go to sushi stop!

Not sure if we didn’t order the right roll or it was just not made well but we were not impressed. The Imperial roll was very bland and no flavor came through. The flavor and freshness of the sushi and sashimi were decent but the size of the fish was unimpressive compared to other places we’ve been. We did really like the fatty tuna (Toro) but there were no prices on this selection and only listed as MP (market price). The prices overall were high, averaged at $25 a roll. Lastly the service was unimpressive. The Sushi chefs were friendly, kind, and conversational. However the waitress never took away used dishes, which got very crowded at the bar, as we ordered an app, a roll and 5 sushi/sashimi. We had to ask for more drinks and could not catch her eye to get the bill when it wasn’t very busy at 8pm. It wasn’t the worst experience but not worth the 45 minute drive to go again.

The sushi, sashimi here is amazing! Super fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls—they did not disappoint! Will definitely be coming back.

I feel ashamed that it took me this long to post a positive review for this restaurant. For me when it comes to sushi, quality is King. Of course the restaurant needs to appear clean and the service staff needs to be friendly and professional, but when I want raw fish the quality is Paramount.
Other than super high-end sushi in the Phoenix area, this is definitely the best and most reliable sushi I have found anywhere in the East valley. Our entire family, including our children, really enjoy eating here whenever we want to sushi splurge.
One quick tip is that if you have any eaters that are not sushi eaters, the teriyaki steak here is particularly good as well.

So happy Nozomi opened in my neighborhood. The food is delicious, staff very pleasant, and restaurant very relaxing. I’ve eaten here for lunch, happy hour, and dinner and have never been disappointed. I can’t leave a photo because I ate every last bite.

I came here between picking up the kids from school and football practice. My son wanted sushi, it’s his his favorite. When I arrived there was only one group and us and the staff (family owned and operated by Ceu and Linda – bro and sis team) was prepping for the dinner rush. Since we were in a hurry I asked to order and I got basic things that would be quick. The sushi chef, Ceu, got right on it and made everything. It was great quality with meaty chunks of tuna and yellowtail and the California roll crab mix, for the kids, was mixed nicely without too much mayo! Yum. We enjoyed our meal. The kids loved it and it was quick. I would recommend this place! Thank you all! See you again!

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Restaurant was empty and easy to get seated. Service was adequate but nothing that I could call a highlight from the experience. Food was underwhelming, we tried a couple of different sushi rolls, each one topped heavily with spicy mayo and eel sauce pretty much taking away from any flavors that you’d expect to taste. The tonkotsu ramen wasn’t as good as other places in the phoenix area. Chicken fried rice was the best item we had, it was the only item I would recommend.
