I decided to get this place after reading the reviews. Many people say it’s like “new york pizza.” I could tell you right now that is offensive. The pizza had no flavor. The mozzarella sticks weren’t bad. The staff was nice.

Old Forge pizza is highly overrated and pales in comparison to Novello’s in Scranton!
To me, the sauce is the most important ingredient in any pizza, and the sauce at Novello’s is as close to perfection as it gets. I understand that Gio, the owner, has been perfecting pizza sauce since the age of 11, and the quality speaks for itself.
Besides pizza, Novello’s offers a full menu for lunch or dinner.
The staff is friendly, energetic, and courteous, and their positive behaviour is an asset to any business.
The waitress, Kristin, always brightens my day every time I visit.

Be sure to RUN to this place upon reading this review. The menu is extensive enough to be considered “dizzying,” so give yourself some time to mull it over. The staff (Kristin) is always quite cordial and very accommodating. I will include photos of my Chicken Bruschetta appetizer, along with a Sausage Roll just to give everyone an idea of what to expect from here, beyond the pizza realm. Once you are finished reading my review and viewing the photos, do yourself a favor and either stop in, or give them a call.

Wow. I’m waiting for urgent care with a patient of mine. It’s around lunch time so both of us are feeling hungry. On the way back to the vehicle I look up and see this restaurant so I figured let me go in get a menu check the prices out because we’re right here. I use to manager a pizza shop in Pittston so I thought hell prices should be around the same. I ordered two personal pizzas one with toppings, gravy fries, and two drink I paid 20 bucks I’m just shocked. This was not only fresh and fast (15 minutes) but it was delicious. How ideal right. An amazing lunch much better then what I was going to do which was run to the closes McDonald’s and I would have paid damn near the same for two adult meals. Pizza was really good size too. I was imaging something a lot smaller child like portions for $7.50 but it wasn’t it was more then enough. I actually regretted ordering the fries. I didn’t finish either. The staff was super friendly and environment was very clean and orderly. Which is something I usually always look for when going in to a restaurant. Loved it and so did my client

We visited Novello’s for the first time today, and we absolutely loved it! The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and we couldn’t get over how fresh the hoagie buns were! Every bite was a treat. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving it a try! We had the Italian hoagie and turkey hoagie.
