This is a great spot in the small town of Newton. They have 30 or so beers on tap and change them out regularly. They have outdoor seating and a large inside area that can accommodate large groups. They host charity events like disco night. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are board games available to play. The food is good but the selection is limited. They primarily offer pizza and wings. The lasagna pizza was really good, as were the Jamaican jerk and habenero wings. Cheese steak egg rolls were tasty as well.

First time visiting this place in my hometown. My dad in his 60s took me (he’s got great taste apparently). Beautiful building, especially the upstairs part. Girls at the bar were very helpful with suggestions and samples. Outdoor space was nice too, had ourselves a game of cornhole. I’m sure it’s even better lit up at night. 10/10 would return next time I’m visiting home.

Great place. Large selection of credit beers in a very cool setting . Very friendly staff. Make sure to say hi to Emily, great bartender. Any great bartenders here, always a great place for awesome beer , bands and friends. Always the latest selection of craft brews. Great people as well. They now have food available.

My wife and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of seating. And a plethora of different styles of beer and ciders to choose from. We met the owner Jeff. He and his staff were very welcoming. They have a stage for live performances. Food is available. However, my bride and I had a large lunch shortly before our beer drinking adventure. If you enjoy trying different brews, in a friendly, laid back setting, Novel Taproom is a great place to check out.

I absolutely love this establishment. Newton has been needing something just like this for a long time. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is as friendly as can be, the beer selection is fantastic, and the prices are incredible. If you haven’t tried this place yet you definitely need to add it to your list!

Great place! We just bought a house in January in Newton and have come downtown once a week minimum. Novel Taproom has been on our to do list and we stopped by today. Jordan loved the beer, we loved the setting and everyone there that we met!

Super nice place! Plenty of craft beer to choose from. They usually have a food truck located on site. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if your in the area. Can’t wait to go back.

Wow! What a great venue — right here in Newton! Because I’m not a beer drinker, I hadn’t found my way in here before tonight, but when I found out that there was a Bunco night, I saw this as a great opportunity to meet other ladies in my new hometown. And guess what? They don’t just have beer. The peach cider was delicious — like pie in a glass. Wine was also available. I loved the atmosphere exposed brick, well lit. I will definitely be back and will bring my husband along as well. Novel Taproom is an asset to Newton and a nice place to spend time with friends or family.
