First of all, shout out to the person who was working on Dec 2, thanks for the heads up about the museums. Secondly. The vibes in there were immaculate. Very chill and cozy. The drink prices were very reasonable. The perfect bar for introverts and bookish folks.

The Novel Rose is a cozy little “hole-in-the-wall” wine bar. A place for someone to enjoy a beverage and a book, or even a snack, without dealing with the smokey, loud, & cliche “bar” setting. In short, it’s quaint. The owner and the workers are extremely friendly and welcoming. I brought my Nintendo switch inside and played some Donkey Kong while enjoying a glass of wine and waiting for my friends to arrive. The decor in this place could be described as warm and homey. There is a bookstore directly connected to the Novel Rose which provides access to a wide array of books for purchase to read while enjoying a glass of wine, beer, or even mead. That’s correct they even offer mead! This is going to be a new favorite chill spot for my friends and I for sure! 10/10.

A great place to sit, have wine with a friend and escape the heat of the day. Victoria was terrific in welcoming us, informing us of the offerings on the menu and making us feel at home. Novel Rose is a great addition to downtown Foley.

Loved this place, I didn’t get to stay long but I intend to visit more over the fall. Super welcoming staff, ridiculously cozy atmosphere! The music isn’t too loud either which is a big plus.
